She needs a place to work. Hotels are expensive. You're not charging $300/ hr and working out of a cheap motel. Apartments can have neighbors that question what is happening with all these strange men coming and going. It is very risky to work from your home. Considering how much they are making it still is a factor trying to find the right place.

She isn't just working 15 hours a week. Most likely she is waiting around and she needs to be available for at least 10-12 hours a day. While not physically working she is not, not working. Assume a 10 to 10 availability. She will also be eating her meals at restaurants not cheap.

You have to calculate Aunt Flow into the equation for 4 days a month. I didn't include any healthcare expenses into this like insurance.

Mentally they aren't working a 50 week year 5 days a week, that rarely happens. Most likely 14 days a month on average.
