The other thing that sort of scares me is providers who are talking on their cellphones while they are strolling. I think one of two things:

1.) she's ucleo and she's keeping in constant touch with the backup team.

2.) she's part of a scam/robberry team - as soon as we get to the spot, she'll call her homies to come and jack me.

As goes the number 2) I had a bad experience with a provider on the trail.

I paid her in advance. She whips out her cellphone and calls and tells her homies the exact location where are we were at. I mean the exact location. I panicked - told her to keep the donation - got her out of the car - and split the scene immediately. That's why I rarely pay in advance anymore.

I have had on occasion, providers get phone calls. they stop performing the service - to chit-chat on the phone. fortunately, this is a minority of the providers.

I am not saying avoid all SW with cellphones - that would be hard to do. Just letting others know what to look out for.

Thank you for confirming my suspicions. I have seen many johns on the OPD Johns List who were busted for lewd and lacivious or indecent exposure, and not for solicitation to commit prostitution (or a pure prostitution related offense). I theorize that this is a new tactic used by UCLEO for making a bust.

Where you're obligated to report to LEO whenever you move into a new neighborhood. Isn't it a much lesser offense to get picked up for propositioning? That's funny, that was the last thing I thought when I saw SW w/ a phone, although I had the same thing happen, but it was after I was done handling business.

First of all, I would never make a date with these SW girls - because they are flaky and IMHO would never show up.

Second, she NEVER got into your car, so you have no proof that she was legit. If she was UCLEO you could have been busted for "assignation to commit prostitution." Assignation is where you make an appointment at a later date or time to do prostitution.
