What we have here is 2 newbies - one asking for help with a simple question that could be simply answered by a senior member or the newbie himself with 5 minutes of research, and the other newbie, who with 2 posts to his name already has a post in the R.O.D. thread because his first post was noticed by Jackson as being that damn good. His second post was even better imho.

Post count means nothing, Talent for this sport is everything, and more than that, the willingness to share with others just counts for alot. It's not that we won't respect someone with 2 posts, it's about what those 2 posts are.

I don't need to build any cred. I have it to burn in spades, I don't really use the forum for information anymore, but for communication. One newbie gets it, the other one doesn't. As the good Dr.Monger says, facts is facts.

My point exactly. That is what this site is supposed to be about. You burn some of your ‘credibility’ when you fail to live up to the words you just wrote. By credibility, I will assume you are referring to the contributions you make on this board. You’ve contributed a lot of valuable information to this board, but credibility is also about respect. I respect people whose posts here actually help others. Flaming someone doesn’t contribute anything to this board, and I sure as hell don’t respect you or anyone else when you flame someone. It’s a rare occasion that someone needs to be flamed on here. Terra Sanctimonious deserved much of what he got, but outside of him it’s rare when I see someone that deserves it. Like I said before; why not just ignore the mans post if you don’t want to contribute any information to him?

Everyone has the ability to ignore someone’s request for info. Well, almost everyone.

If there is one ‘Senior’ on this board that has my respect, it is Balti. Hell, I’ve even noticed over the last few years that even the good Dr. Seems to have mellowed some and I’ve noticed many times where he has helped someone rather than jump them for no reason. Hey guys,

Any new info on this place? I went in the other day but the one girl working (hot BTW) said she was booked until late afternoon. Seems like it might be a cool place for a change of pace but wasn't sure what the deal is there. Be warned though. You have to go to the front door and knock.
