I very much dislike when providers ask for provider references. Unless the client specifically instructs the provider to provide a reference for him then I believe it is a betrayal of confidence And Discretion essential to this hobby. Plus I don't think it outside the realm of possibility for a provider to seek to discredit the monger to preserve the almighty cash flow or just plain out of jealousy or dislike of the other provider. Or who knows, maybe the provider is really his wife seeking ammunition for the divorce. That said, I am more than forthcoming with a couple of Monger references whom that provider has seen already. And I have cleared this with the mongers. Furthermore providers or mongers should never reference or even imply any illegal acts occurred when providing references.

I have no issue with any verification process. I have a few ladies that I have asked to act as references if needed. I encourage them to be honest. I feel my record on this site as well as the oThER site speaks for itself. There is nothing better than meeting a lady for the first time knowing going in we are both going to have a safe, fun time. What's it to me if you checked me out? I certainly checked you out.

That said, a SP recently told me of getting a call from another SP asking about a guy. She honestly told the lady the guy was an ass hole and why. So, the lady suddenly became busy and had to beg off on the guy.

The moral to that story is, don't be an ass hole.

Savanna.[/QUOTE]I normally ask the providers I'm wanting to use as a reference through individual PM's or call if they mind doing this for me. I also tell them who the new provider is that I am trying to see. That way they know when they receive a PM or call from this person what it is about.

I feel if you a (provider) are being ask to be a reference to a monger then you should have all the details about what's going down before you receive a PM or call from the provider who is wanting to know if the monger is legit or not. The monger is the one looking for another provider so it is his responsibility to make sure that the references he gives out do not have a problem with being a reference before hand.
