I may be opening myself up for some serious thrashings here, but I'm fairly new to the site and don't practice the hobby often. It seems like a very informative site, almost too informative. Back in my military days, I was in Intel and we used to say too much information was sometimes worse than too little. Hard to pick through it and pick out the good stuff. So is there a "strategy" for finding the info you're looking for or is it just a matter of read read read? Any helpful hints would be much appreciated.

And then once you get the results there is no other way than to sift through it all. Then draw the conclusions, this happens in your mind. And then using that information is another story. This is a billion dollar opportunity if someone can come up with an engine to precisely look for stuff without the need to sift. Until then, we will have to live with this sifting. The problem is information is unstructured and hence hard to organise. Don't want to get into a lecture of semantics of computer science here but you get the idea. Maybe other mongers have better techniques. Cheers.

Yeah, I'm computer savvy. I've been in IT for 36 years so I know my way around online. The problem with the search function is the delay setting.
