I'm all for keeping prices down, but some things have to be kept in perspective:

1. You get a better price if you are a known regular. Unfortunately, I'm not a known regular anywhere in Atlanta. I used to visit Atlanta every 4 to 6 weeks, but now it's more like 4-6 months between visits. So, even with their good memories, the mamasans do not always recognize me. If I were there once or twice each week, I'm sure that might help in getting a lower price.

2. When I do visit, I'm usually on a really tight schedule. I don't have a choice as to what time of day to go; I usually have a small window of time, and I seize it when I can. I cannot simply take my business elsewhere unless the elsewhere is really close, and I cannot hit up a girl on BP at the last moment, like I can when I'm at home. I know visiting Gold at 10 pm on a Friday night is about the worst possible time to visit. When I was there, there were 2 cars in the front. 4 cars in the back and 3 cabbies waiting in the back. Nobody wants to watch money walk out the door, but when they are turning away people and telling them to come back later, they are going to be less apt to beg you to stay.

3. The regular posters on this forum are a tiny piece of the business. You can go with the theory that every little bit helps, but the reality is that we cannot, and do not, have a very appreciable effect on the overall market. If we could drive prices down through a concerted effort, that would be wonderful. I don't see it happening, though.

That being said, I'm absolutely going to give the Kid Cisco method a try next time I'm in Atlanta, and I'm going to do it at Gold. I'll stick at $160, even if I have to get dressed and walk on out the door. I'll report my results.

When the baseline is 160 and the lady gets 160 instead of 200, she is thinking that she is +160, instead of -40. But when the baseline is 200 and the lady gets 160 instead of 200, then she is thinking that she is -40, instead of +160. So if everyone works together and say 160 is all we have in our pockets, then the lady gets conditioned to the 160 baseline.

The problem, of course, is that not enough people are ever going to go along with the program, IMO. Even if everyone who reads this site walks at anything over $160, how many other people are not going to do so? Most of the customer base is not reading this thread right now. And, Kid Cisco himself stated that he does not go at the busiest times. So, what's a fair price at the busiest times? The girls are not stupid; they may be greedy, but they're not stupid. If there's another guy walking through the door any minute who is going to pay over $300, the girls do not care about your $160.

In any event, I'll be at Gold next month, I think on a Wednesday night. We'll see what happens when I stick at $160. I'm not completely confident it's going to work, but if it doesn't, I'm going across the street to St. Jame to try it there. If it fails there, I'm going next door to Aromatherapy. If that fails, I guess I'll head back over to Mike's place to see whichever girl I did not see earlier!

In the meantime, I'd be interested in hearing the specific negotiating strategy that people use with a new girl you've never seen before. This is not my first rodeo, so I've probably tried every type of strategy in a lot of different venues. I'm just curious if you put the $160 out there, stating that is the price you will pay, period. The only times I wait until after the TS is when I need time to assess the provider's personality a little more or when I'm not quite sure what I want. I know ballpark prices so I'm not afraid to negotiate at that point as it only takes a few seconds anyway. Nobody I know is going to stand there with a raging boner for several long minutes and debate prices. I think some guys out there hold that misperception though.

These same tactics work anywhere. Atlanta isn't special in that regard. When all else fails, common sense prevails.

First off we would like to say thanks for all the PM's about your request for new relaxation therapist. I think we can all agree on 2 things:

1) Negotiation is not a science. It is an art based on individual personalities, and there are as many different negotiation strategies as there are personalities. If you are a business man then you know what I'm talking about.

2) But like in business we can all agree on results or market standards, and in this case we are agreeing on baseline price. How you get there is up to you, and the more guys doing it, then the better for all of us.

Also in response to my tactic about hugging and kissing the chick early, they actually like the attention even if they may turn their heads or say they don't kiss customers. Just keep an Altoids in your mouth, and if she does not let you kiss her in the mouth, then start nibbling on her ears and cheek. Hugging and kissing is as primal as making eye contact. It signals sexual attraction. It tells the lady you want GFE and you will DATY her, and you wil FS with her. Now it is her turn to respond... If she is not responsive to your kiss advances, then chances are she is not sexually attracted to you or will not be enthusiastic about your session. And you should choose another girl and move on. Remember this is before you put up any money or negotiate. I personally beat the baseline by going to independent apartment providers that used to work in AMPs or salons for 80-120. I still return every month or so to meet up with my 5 regulars for 100 with no stopwatch, and that includes RMT-level massage, FS, GFE, and sometimes a nice cooked meal. Most of these ladies have stopped advertising because they have built up a regular clientele. They rather have 5 regulars that they know in their private apartments than 10 new clients in a high traffic AMP, because AMPs are more stressful with unknown or asshole customers, customer haggling and complaints, potential LEs, demanding mamasan, other ladies jealousy issues that goes both ways, etc. So what seems like a better payday for higher stress to the girls is not always their best choice. At least that is what some of the smart ones have figured out.

I guess the point here is that yes, negotiation can be stressful and some guys avoid it by just dumping 300 out, and not have to go thru the haggling process. And I totally understand the mentality, why put up with the haggles for 160 if you can already afford 300? I actually have that mentality when it comes to buying cars. I know I overpaid my Acura by about 5K just because I didn't want to haggle with the sales guy. But haggling with a K-chick is a little different. It is actually more of a turn-on for me. The crucial bit of information that I'm missing here is what the baseline is at the particular AMPs I visit. We used to have accurate, reliable intel posted here about what guys were paying at particular AMPs, with a fairly large sample size. Using that intel, I could go to an AMP I had never visited before, successfully bluff that I had been there before by pretending not to remember who I had seen, then convincingly "recalling" the names of girls who had been there some time in the past year or two (names of girls posted on this forum) , and get what I wanted for the going rate. If people posted that FS was available at Ocean and Royal for $140, then I went to Ocean and Royal and got FS for $140 because I knew what the going rate was, and I knew full well that the girls would take it. Like Kid Cisco notes, they can see it in your eyes and know whether you are weak, full of shit or strong in your resolve. If you choose to pay a little more at that time, then it's your choice, but at least you are not doing it blindly.

So, what are guys currently paying at AMPs in Atlanta for GFE-style FS? And which AMPs? I'm not really interested in the AMPs other than the Piedmont Road ones, Gold, St. Jame and Aromatherapy. I know Kid Cisco gets FS at Gold for $160, but what about the other guys reading this thread? What about at St. Jame? Xeo11 mentioned paying $160 at St. Jame. Anyone else done so lately? I've managed $160 at St. Jame, like 4-5 years ago, and $180 a couple years ago, but I am more used to paying $200 for the past year. I had not heard of guys paying only $160 in the past year, but I have now. One or two people saying what they pay does not mean that those guys are paying the going rate because some guys will obviously get a better deal than the going rate as the result of being long-term or frequent customers or who knows what. Still, it means that there's some possibility of getting that rate. That's all I need to give it a go, myself.

The beauty of this forum is that guys will share information about pricing, either openly or through PMs. When there's a lot of intel shared, the customers will benefit. I am very familiar with the legal industry in Nevada and the pricing there, and the problem with the business, from a customer standpoint, is that guys are very reluctant to discuss pricing. Consequently, that's probably the most expensive pussy in the entire world. What makes it even more perverse is that it is legal, so there's absolutely no good reason not to discuss it. Some of the girls get pissed off at you if you mention prices, and they specifically ask you not to do so. They do this because if the information were out there, there would not be as many rubes handy to pay their ridiculous prices. If a guy believes from watching Cathouse that the price for an hour of pussy is $2000 or $2500, then a lot of guys will pay that $2000 or $2500. I shit you not. The guys who know the actual price will scoff or burst out laughing when they receive such a quote. I have received such a quote, and I actually laughed in the girl's face. The price then dropped $1000. Then dropped in half again.

So, it's interesting to hear the different negotiating strategies, which is why I asked, but most important to me is the knowledge of what other guys are actually paying, particularly at the AMPs I frequent.

I visited my first Atlanta spa about a week ago and then went back again a couple of days ago. Both times it was Aromatherapy, and both times saw a gal called OD, like "Oh Dee". This is our hard earned money. Who cares if you sound like a horse's ass! Its not like they are doing us a favor. I remember once at St. Jame paying $$ and being told that doggy was extra after the fact (before listening to advice on here). Subsequently I've had my best ever session there for 160. But, it's kind of like making a low-ball offer in any context: if you offer what is so obviously a low-ball offer, you look like you are either uninformed or playing games, which you are. Horse's ass may be a bit strong of a characterization, but I know girls who remember guys who make low offers and resent them for it. And the service they are given does actually suffer. So, if I'm trying for $160, I'd be more apt to start at $140, even if that leaves less room. Okay guys, I read your advice and returned to the spa and asked for the mamasan. I am going to try to make a long story short. I politely reminded her of my terrible experience before and asked for my money back or a future discount. She initially acted like she did not know who I was and she didn't speak engrish. So as I spoke she repeated to the mamasan is english what I said followed by (ani which is no in Korean). So she told me a twenty discount right now and I said no. We negotiated $ for everything no house fee but the employee kept saying no. Then the mamasan said ok and the employee went to the back and I asked again "$" are you sure and she said yes you will have good time. The mamasan leaves and the employee takes me to the room and asks for one sixty and I said the owner said $ and she said no sixty for house and $ for me. I asked what about the discount? She replied you got forty discount be / see it is normally two$. I said that is not what we discussed. She called the owner and went back and forth with her finally she said 140 sixty discount and to come back later be / see she did not like my attitude and was not going to give me a massage. Wow what a day. I was respectful the entire time. I need a beer or something. Not my day. And as a newbie this is not a good start.

I was a regular at a couple of AMPs near campus at my college town when I was in school.

The new girl had nothing to do with your previous shitty session, so she wasn't about to take a hit on her share of the extras fee. Just remember to complain immediately if it happens again. Long time Monger, first time here but have read many posts and thought it was time to contribute.

The employee you referred to at Bally Hot Stone is a good English speaking, semi-attractive young k spinner, but it stops there. She has a bad attitude and won't budge from 160. + 60 at door for TS and massage =.240. The service was terrible, I mean terrible! Her attitude just killed any ambitions I had and I'll spare the details because it isn't much to right about. The TS / massage lady is an attractive 40ish though and have tried to entice her but to no avail. The next time I visited, I got the same girl – can't remember her name, sorry. Her attitude keeps getting in the way. But if you go there and you get her, you'll know exactly who I'm talking about, like someone keeps pissing in her massage oil or something. Seriously! I asked mamasan for a different girl. Ok, a few minutes later in comes this, I don't know what it was – face of a bull dog's ass or worse, scary. I ran, won't repeat. If you decide to go there, be forewarned, IMO.
