And she sent me some awesome photos. Texted her said I was ten minutes away, she responded, got to her location. Then Nothing, waited for half hour, nothing. ? Started heading back to Maine in the wonderful traffic of 495, get a text, Friend stopped over. That was it. She hasn't responded, or any attempt to apologize. But I think it was a blessing in disguise after reading this post. That was a near miss. Thanks guys.

Nah bro. Don't make too much out of these stories. The old, disabled guy she clocked was probably asking for it. She's a nice girl. I don't see her doing that for no reason. This seems prudent, reasonable and logical. But, as they say, the devil is in the details.

How would a backup plan work? I can think of 2 ways, each with problems.

1) Make a date with 2 girls. If the 1st girl works out, just break the 2nd date. Good luck ever making a date with the 2nd girl again.

2) Make a date with just one girl, but have a few other numbers ready to call if she ghosts you. The problem is that those other girls may, or may not, be able to see you.
