From reading various post in here it sounds like my required trips to Indy for meetings might be getting very boring. I would usuually come in a day early to relax but if things are heating up for the winter I guess I will come in for meetings only make it a 1 day trip instead of 2. Maybe I can get the meeting s moved to anoher city with a better climate.

Since I'm about to step up to the world of escorts from visiting massage parlors (since they closed rejuv down). Is it customary to tip the escort when she is charging $250 an hour for service? Or is included in the $250? Please provide a newbie to the customs of the escort scene with some answers.

Like in a restaurant, tipping is based upon service. If by appointment end you are so happy with her that you know you will see her again, give her a tip and don't forget to say you will call her again.

I would add to Golfcart's advice that gifts are usually appreciated. You can always ask up front if there's a particular item she's been wanting (she is your Girl Friend after all :), or you can't go wrong with certain perfumes or jewelry. It's all a matter of your and her tastes. A $99 Craigslist special might warrant a box of chocolates or a hot new CD, whereas a $500+ evening out with a more refined lady might warrant some clothing or jewelry for the event.

And unlike Elaine on Seinfeld, they all love cash.

I am self-employed and provide a service mainly based on hourly rates. Let's say I quote a client $200/hr for my services and I do everything I was expected to provide and the results of my services were positive. My client ends up extremely satisfied with my services. I would never expect my client to pay more than the quoted fee and never have I received a tip.

When I was an employee of a firm providing the same type of services, only once in 18 yrs with that firm did a client ever pay more than what was invoiced due to the extraordinary services that were provided. And never did I expect or receive a tip personally, and I have to believe this is because the client assumed that I was being paid a fair wage from my employer, which of course I was.

I certainly understand the restaurant analogy, however servers typically are paid a bit more than $2/hr and the only reason one would ever take a job like that is because of the tips. The hourly rate that they are "guaranteed" is in no way commensurate to they services that are provided.

So I guess with that, maybe I am thinking that if the stated price is fair for what was received, then why would a tip be expected? Now of course if one wants to tip, great, but should it be expected? If you compare it to the AMPs, my belief there is the service providers at an AMP are not paid a fair wage from the AMP, similar to a server at a restaurant, so tipping is customary and expected, based on the quality of the service provided.

Now don't get me wrong, as I can be extremely generous when it comes to tipping, be it at an AMP, a restaurant or even with an escort, but the latter only happens after receiving over-the-top service. However, due to the services being so very personal in nature, I do understand and encourage the practice of gift-giving.

Just my $.02 and would love to hear any thoughts folks may have.

Thanks for the lead TA2. I am familiar with her and I will pass. I saw her over 2 years ago and had to leave. Hygiene is awful. The only way I would see her is with a full body raincoat followed by an immediate rubbing alcohol shower.
