I thought it was about not posting the real names
Pretty simple Talon, why cause their loved ones more grief than they are already suffering. I'm sure many of their family members have no idea what these women were doing and I for one think it very considerate of A2 for trying to keep their real identities a secret. The internet is a powerful thing and it doesn't take a brain surgeon to do a name search and dig up all sorts of information on a person. I think keeping their identities from being divulged in our forum is the proper thing to do. May they rest in peace. JD.
But alright to post a BP link or the name they went by on BP. To me, that's not violating anything as they did post on BP ya know.
Confused about this no names policy?
Don't post anything, even if they have passed, that connects their real and working life. If theiy had a name they went by on BP or in the life that name would be fine but if you find their obituary don't post their real name.
We don't want their family to google them and find out after they died that they were hookers. They most likely will, I'd rather that didn't come from us.
A2.
I'm confused, so please explain how revealing a dancer's name means that she's automatically associated with being a hooker or anything else? From the opposite direction it let's people who she has contact with morn her in more personal terms. From a purest perspective many dancer's are dancing to put themselves through school and college etc. How many families are looking on this website to see if their loved ones have passed anyway?
Ace has hit the nail on the head
Its not about looking at this website.
Its the fact that their child who is 7 could google their mom's name in a few years and this website pops up. Now some pre-teen is looking at a bunch of random guys rating their dead mom's oral skills.
Kid grows up and wanting to learn about his or her mom googles her name, as the internet becomes even more pervasive and omnipresent even the most obscure facts about a persons life will be readily available. Kid starts reading about how great mom was at sucking cock and liked taking it hard in the ass! Surely not the thing most children hoping to learn about their mother are wanting too hear. Why do we really need to divulge these women true identities, what purpose does it serve? JD.

If anyone on this board thinks that by not identifying a provider they are keeping her identity a secret then they are really ignorant as any real person with any good tools can investigate anyone via public records, Google and / or pay per use sites so as to find information about anyone. I'm surprised that no one here realizes that? Most people find other people via Facebook these days so let's keep someone's identity secret seems more like wishful thinking, doesn't it?
Working Name vs Real Name
It's not an issue of just posting a name; it's an issue of posting a real, legal, identifiable, searchable name. This is the case in virtually any matter on this board. The problem arose when members started posting real names as opposed to posting working names. Passing along the knowledge that "Susie Rottencrotch" passed away is a service to the board. Passing along what Susie's real name was, and what her Facebook name is, is just wrong and potentially hurtful to her family.
For the girls that work under their real name; well, that's just stupid. And as you know, you can't fix stupid.
