Is to block of all numbers, and if and when you do get those gory pictures. Delete and don't open to view them. Because I did, and it left me quite scared and on edge for over a year before I felt safe again.

Also if your house don't already have a camera / security system. Install one.

Not because anyone will come after your family, but because otherwise you yourself will be too stressed.
