This scam is as old as the internet, dude. Never send money for any reason, even if it's a provider you've been with many times. There are plenty of stories out there about providers that took advantage of regular clients for a one-time payoff. Doesn't matter how many times you've seen one, never send any money. If she asks for a deposit of any sort, even for travel expenses which is a common one I'm seeing a lot of lately, be like Nancy Reagan- just say no.
