I know that the length of the song isn't the only measure of a dance, and that quality (hm or uhm) can trump quantity. But it would be informative to get a time estimate. For instance at DV, they have 30 minutes for $. 50 normally (and $ on Thursday), but if you choose the wrong girl the dance can feel like a long time but not in a good way.

Because they can get it. Strip joints adjust prices up and down to see what the market will bear and they find some point where they seem to make the maximum.

If I were to guess why Hawthorne/LAX can get away with charging more, it would probably be because those clubs get a lot of businessmen in who are on their way in and out of town and are on expense accounts. I don't think it happens much these days but I used to see guys in suits go into the Bare Elegance and throw $100 tips at the ladies just for their stage dances. In COI, if Hawaii Theater raises its dance prices $10 then it's going to drive a lot of the business over to Synn or Rhino or other clubs that are just a few blocks away. But around LAX, there were really only a few strip clubs and Bare Elegance and Jet Strip were owned by the same people so they weren't that concerned if they lost your business and you went to the other place. So long ago, they priced more for the free spenders and they haven't adjusted much since then. Mostly, I think it's a matter of not raising prices.

You get 30 minutes in a very comfortable, pleasant space and the girl is totally nude. It is not totally private, but it is as private as you need it to B. Tip for extras will vary with the dancers, but the couple of times I did this I tipped only. 5, and one of those two times the dancer did not request a tip, but I still gave her. 5. Don't worry, let Mr. Happy be happy. Nobody is watching you in Synn - at least not anybody who would give a damn, and the same is true at all the COI clubs. In DJVCOI the machines have replaced counters entirely. The guy at Synn stands by the entrance/exit to the lap area and counts dances without roaming booth to booth. At the end he hands you a free pass as you leave the area as your punishment for enjoying your high mileage nude dances. Obviously they know what business they're in, and as long as the heat is low (almost always), they let the business flow. The day COI clubs start enforcing official rules which they all have in the interest of plausible deniability, is the day that COI become City of Irrelevance to players. They know how their bread gets the butter and they are all for it and happy to find attractive dancers who can keep you bringing your man butter and have you leave it behind.

What do you think the worse that could happen is anyway? As others have said, be careful of the upsell at DVCOI. Some of the dancers (it may be a night shift thing...) seem to think that they can ask for a tip just after the lap dance begins, promising that "the dance will get a lot better if you give me a tip". If you fall for it, you waste time during YOUR dance to fumble for your money. But as with anything, you're taking a huge risk. I've been in there during night shift and ended up leaving after laying out a total of $100 (entrance plus laps with two girls), and didn't even get a decent lap dance. The first one I bought 2 dances, and when I didn't tip they ended up being mechanical, low mileage wastes of money. Another promised a 3 for $20, but the timer was only set for two. And the $40 tip I fell for was totally wasted when the timer ran out after only a couple of minutes. $60 down the drain. And to top it off, the dancer quality was pretty horrendous. Most were in the 3 -5 range, with maybe one or two 6's. On the other hand, I've had some wonderful experiences during day shift.

Yeah I agree. Be wary of the night shift at the HT. Even the Arcadia one I mentioned before. Thus why I stopped going to that one and ventured further South. The only thing worse than inconsistant mileage is off the charts price tags. I've set up red flags that tell me to call it a night if things start not going well.

I've only been doing these clubs for a few months but I have to agree. You will get much better mailage during the day at any or all of them then you will at night. Lucky for me I'm retired so going durning the day is no problem for me. I hope the rest of you can take a few hours off and see what happens on a good day!!!

I decided on the DJV today rather than the AMP choice in the opposite direction of the freeway.

I left for DJVCOI around 2:30'ish thinking I would get there in no time but quickly forgot about Friday afternoon traffic. For a moment I was wondering if my decision for a club was better than the AMP idea in the HW area.

Right now I'm very glad I made the choice I did. I walked in and the place seemed fairly busy. About a half a dozen guys, maybe more, and the girls outnumbered us 2 to one. There were a lot of them walking around and a small group sitting across the room from me in a four pack just gabbing.

No one really paid me much attention at first, because I'll usually choose a far end table and nothing too close to the stage area. I wanted to take a good look at this place since I've never been to this one before. I also wanted to see my options in women.

When in a DV Club, all 2for1 3for1 etc. Blue Light Specials are measured by the timer the dancer puts the money into. They do not pay any attention to the songs being played. This is true for ALL DV Clubs.
