Centerfolds trip report:
Looking to see how the fallout of the Frank club closures has been, I made my first ever trip to Centerfolds on Saturday afternoon. Here is my very lengthy feedback.
The club itself is off the beaten path over on 15th NW and 85th, just a few blocks' north of the Sands. It's nestled between two bars, and while there isn't much parking (although apparently the value village parking across the street is usable), the club inside is coming along.
The owner, whomever he may be, has apparently taken an active role in getting the club set up. There have been some renovations apparently, and additional furniture purchased, and the club itself (originally set up as a male-dancer club) has an okay layout. There's a single stage with an extended walkway and a set of chairs around it, and a back wall that faces the stage and has long cushy couches with tables and lamps.
There are raised VIP areas off the left and right of this with are adorned more like your parents living room; 3 armless long couches in a "C" shape, coffee table in the middle, with end tables and "Mom's living room" style dimmed lamps. However, it was kind of interesting there; I got a dance from one dancer while Carrington was lying down with some guy on the next couch over, so the whole experience felt more like one of those high school weekend makeout parties while your parents were away. A couple of dancers said the owner is going to replace those areas with more traditional high-backed chairs; sounds like since this place was principally a male dancer strip club, that the layout was set up differently (I'm guessing that women would go in the VIP in groups while the male dancer was on the table?).
Anyway, working this particular day were Janika, Carissa, Carrington, Demi, April, and Chris. There were maybe 3-4 guys in the club. I've heard several other dancers have come over, mostly Honey's dancers it sounds like. Ireland (I don't know her) had a post saying Wednesday (is this the same Lara Flynn Boyle lookalike, or a different one?) and Mason are also working here. I talked to a couple of the dancers, and they seem excited (except Chris, who has apparently been there since October as one of only a few female dancers, and apparently isn't looking forward to sharing the club with the other dancers showing up). The owner is actively improving things, and sounds like he's treating them with respect as well as soliciting their advice on improvements. The VIP areas are not patrolled in the slightest, as the one guy working alternated between the front desk and getting drink orders. The volume of this place is currently so low compared to say Rick's that they don't have cocktail waitresses.
I did encourage the dancers I spoke with to post their schedules/times at these clubs on the various boards, as that will attract the customer base. I think with the owner improving the place, and looking to do more advertising, there is the *potential* to build this up to a place with 15-20 dancers working at a time and 1. 5-2x that many customers. If that happens, the owner will be rolling in it.
### Good:
The owner seems accommodating to the rush of dancers from the closed clubs, so some of them have found a place to land (although their client base/foot traffic is not there yet). If the mileage improves and the high-backed chairs go in, once word spreads this could be a good place with a good pool of dancers and a good size of customers at any given time.
The owner seems determined to make this a working female-dancer strip club, and lots of dancers are making the trek over. The layout is reasonably nice, it's being improved/repaired, and if the VIP gets nice high-backed chairs it'll be an interesting setup. There isn't nearly the square footage here as with Rick's- the VIP will potentially seat about as many as Honey's VIP, although with more privacy- but at least the owner sounds like a half-decent guy and those who loathe the Deja Vu-owned clubs will have at least two independently owned clubs in the Seattle area to go to.
### Bad:
First, the bathroom is atrocious. It's moderately clean, but there's no door (just that you shaped entry style) and there's only a single stall- no urinal- also with no door and at the time no toilet paper. That bathroom really needs work!
Second, apparently the owner has made it clear he encourages "fun" dances, but no extras. While the VIP doesn't seem to be patrolled, they can see some things and if you're caught that's apparently it. Martina- who I thought was retiring post-Ricks, and who apparently gave FS dances at Rick's (hey, why did no one tell me? Hmph- I'd have danced with her more if that was the case, but thought she was HJ only and then not even that post-raid)- has apparently already been kicked out for having sex, and another dancer (didn't catch the name) was caught giving head and booted. So as of now, the dances involve grinding, flashing, but no HJ/BJ/FS.
One of the dancers thought this was just temporary- since she said the owner otherwise seems lenient and cool- at least until things pick up and get comfortable, but it's hard to tell. The SPD will never be oblivious to what goes on in these places, so you either go for it or you don't. As for now, Centerfolds doesn't seem like a place to supplant the Rick's of two years ago. Maybe if the owner has a change of heart, and those high-backed chairs go in, we'll have the ideal situation: any dancer can offer whatever she is comfortable offering, and there'll be a place for all dancer types and services.
I'd personally love to see the owner adopt my own philosophy of "extras" dances: don't try to stop it, but just follow the "plausible deniability" rule. If you can see as a manager/customer what's going on in the VIP (or when they have high-backed chairs) it should be stopped, but if no one can see it, then it's just a little fun being had between consenting adults. I am not a lawyer, so I'm not sure what culpability an owner would have who made a seemingly good faith effort to discourage such things while still knowing that what happens, happens. Besides their overall scumminess, I thought the Franks were done in because of evidence they encouraged it explicitly. World of difference; the girls can still take their chances if the owner is not in the line of fire.
### Amusing
Was talking to a dancer who mentioned that she was considering doing a lot more privates, but that the "money isn't as good as it was a few years ago", and she'd "only" get $500 compared to $1K a few years ago (and that some of her favorites "yell at her" because she's undercharging). Ha ha- like any guy would pay that much or *complain* that the prices were too low. Honey, you're a sweetheart, but absolutely no one is paying you $500/hr for private dances. Sofina206, an ex Deja Vu dancer and current escort, is one of the hotter escorts I've seen in ages: young, beautiful, smokingly lush body, very sensual and giving with terrific BBBJTC skills and she charges like $250/hr or so. I really don't think these dancers understand that $200/250 is actually plenty good money for a one hour or 90 minute appointment- you're not paying the house, you have no real risk of being caught, and if you pick your pool from regulars you meet at the club it's probably fairly safe.
I did get some interesting info about dancers from her, who said she thought my long-sought-after Ruby from Rick's 2 years ago had left the area (California or Texas; I'd heard from another dancer that she was riding a pedicab down by SafeCo just this past fall). And apparently when I told my story of how I first got started at Rick's with Candy Cotton bursting my strip club VIP cherry way back when, she shocked me by saying CC was still working in the area! I'm surprised at that shelf life so where the heck is Sharise at, I'd like some private dances! And even then, in 2002/2003 or so a reasonably good looking dancer like Candy Cotton was only charging $400 for unclocked, multi-hour PSE type sessions. It puts a lie to the idea that "Microsoft VPs" are paying these women $500-$1K for a private session.
Ricksfan, thanks for the thorough description of Centerfolds.
I went last week and had a very similar experience. I saw Anna, Carrington, Rene and two other Ricks daytime dancers (can't remember their names).
All the dancers I talked to had mentioned seeing or hearing about a couple of dancers getting fired for "excessively nasty dancing". I got two dances with no extra's.
Basically, the daytime dancers I knew from Ricks are getting settled in and are a little afraid of doing extra nasty dances.
I also had two different dancers give me the 500/hr for private dancing speech with added hilarity about how they used to charge 800 to 1,000 per hour. I simply said, "if you can get 500/hr, take it!" I also tell them about this web site, TnA and TRB. Both dancers that talked to me were steadfast in their insistance that they get 500/hr.
All the Dancers did say that the owner was putting money into the club to "fix it up". I didn't hear about anything specific, just he's going to fix the place up.
Lastly, I did hear that many dancers went to the Vu and hated it there. So, right now, it looks like Centerfolds or nothing.
Stopped in late afternoon.. 2 cover with in and out privileges. Nice clean club. Cameras back by the private dance area. Also, the floor manager/bouncer made sure to stop by during every single song. Girls ran 6-8. Mileage potential about zero.

Sorry for any confusion.
Re: Ricks Fan
Thanks for the very detailed review on Centerfolds. I too was there on Saturday afternoon and made similar observations. I do hope management follows through with the proposed upgrades because most of the "new" customers that they are trying to attract (from the Frank's clubs) will have been accustomed to somewhat better facilities.
Besides the main stage, and VIP areas (I liked your description of the Mom's living room lamps and sofas) the shared bathroom(singular) must be improved. I am not accustomed to a Euro type unisex bathroom, but I had to go and found myself facing an open stall (2 total) and a dancer combing her hair and adjusting makeup to my backside(hmmm_just like at home). This space will need improvement in quantity and in features in order to accommodate a large crowd.
I was told also that VIP booths are on the way, that more lighting is going in and that the center "runway" is to be removed and replaced with more tables and chairs.
Another piece of information I gathered when I asked what girls from other clubs were there was the same comment about Martina. Since she has been my ATF for quite sometime over at Ricks I was interested. I have not spoken to her since she left Ricks however she told me she would be working full-time at her regular job and not dancing. So I was somewhat puzzled, enough so that I called the manager aside and asked for information. His reply that they have not hired/fired anyone by that name or description. So I left there unsure of what went down, if anything.
Tuesday, today, I visited again and had a long conversation with another former Rick's dancer who has been there everyday since the "guys" left, and is friendly with Martina. She said absolutely not true. She and the manager looked a list of applications and the roster and confirmed that Martina has never even applied to work there. The dancer that gave you the info. Must have been the same one that gave it me on Sat. While I was there today this dancer(name withheld_but you know who she is) arrived and was confronted with what she told me, she denied saying it! The manager and the everyday dancer said as far as they know Martina has never set foot in the place.
So don't feel too bad about not dancing more with Martina and missing out on extras. I have been dancing with her mainly for the past three years (and don't consider myself a fool where extras are involved) but your observations about pre/post raid extras from her at Ricks were very close to accurate(I. E. Minimal). I'm sure there are those out there who will say that is not true, but that is my take on her.
One other interesting piece of info. Was that the second dancer you mentioned who was fired, was fired for the reason you stated, but she has been the only casualty thus far and is scheduled to return.
In summary:
1. The club was slow on both days (dayshift: Sat. & Tues.) when I was there.
2. Improvements need to be made to attract customers that are accustomed to better facilities
3. Some of these dancers will lie (LOL)
4. Ricks Fan I always like to read your detailed reviews and comments here and on the other board(I just wish that "Yeoman" character would develop a painful case of "carpal tunnel")
Well the Bear is up and running again, ans as I am a transplant to this City I never saw it before all the weird rules.
Every time I've passed by there is no indication that anything is open, just the faded sign and a "Hiring Showgirls" banner that is looking more and more pathetic.
I wouldn't know which door to try.
Are they really open? How do they expect anyone to find them?

From my understanding, if the old arrow shaped sign is out, they're open. Just walk in through the Magazine shop.
Again if anyone has any info on it's original incarnation I'd love to hear the story.
From my understanding, if the old arrow shaped sign is out, they're open. Just walk in through the Magazine shop.
Well, if they are being low key, I wonder how they are going to make enough money to keep the doors open.
I hope I recognize the "old arrow shaped sign" when I see it. I'd like to check this place out. Good experience or bad experience, at least I'll have a story.
I hope I recognize the "old arrow shaped sign" when I see it. I'd like to check this place out. So there we go. Not much of a daytime scene, since it opens at 5. More of a "just after work" kind of scene.
Guess I'll have to drop by when it's open.
Well I finally went to a washington strip club, I've been boycotting them due to the lack of booze although I have been unofficially once with a girl I was dating who was a dancer and once with the owner and a group of freinds but those two times I didn't spend any money or interact with any of the other dancers as a customer.
Anyhow it was raining Saturday and there wasnt much action on the streats but it was still early and the rain was starting to let up so I thought I'd check out little darlings and wait and see if any more SW could come out. $20 cover includes bottomless drinks $20 private dances sometimes theyd have a special 3 for $40 lots of hot women some not so much one of which I'm sure I've seen on the strolls before but I didn't want to ask on the chance shed be offended. I got about four dances right when I got there good grinding with lots of roaming on my part. Private booths with open curtains and cameras over every one plus a manager walking through on every dance. I asked whats he doing she said hes counting dances, I'm thinkin yeah and making sure we don't do anything were not supposed to. Afterwords another girl promised that her dancers were worth it hinting at some kind of extras but after seeing the setup I didn't buy it although she was really tempting. I stayed for awhile waiting for the one hot girl that I saw to dance but she never did and my buzz wore off so I left. Damage $100 I'm not sure if I'll be doing it again anytime soon its just not as much fun without booze.
My friend, consider also the fun of posting to this forum while sober.
What is that supposed to mean?
I stopped in to check things out last night around 10PM. $5 cover and a couple bucks for a can of pop.
When I got there Champagne (light black, small breasts, big booty) was on stage. A second girl, Black Diamond (light black, larger girl, Huge breasts) was running the music. They alternated each two songs. After a while an anorexic looking Jade (white, tiny bumps of breasts, ribs showing) came in. They then switched to a one song rotation.
They were offering a $20 couch dance and $25 for the peep show room. The couch area was very open and people heading out back for a smoke would walk pass, no privacy there. The peep area was two small rooms divided by glass. There were a few chairs in the viewer room if you want to watch as a group. The girl went to the other room and would dance fully nude. There was a microphone for talking between the rooms. I did not sample either the couch or the peep show. They also had a drum kit and guitars up there just in case you feel like a little live music.
The shop owner would pop in every few minutes from the bookstore. He sat down and chatted with people occasionally. When we talked he said that assuming this takes off he'll open in Tacoma as well if nothing else to get a mix of girls that could be swapped between the locations.
We talked about the House of Pancakes. He said that when that project popped up he got a call "strongly encouraging" him to reactived his license. I.E. if you EVER want to do something else in Seattle... House of Pancakes was going to be another Deja Vu project and he got the impression that "they" don't want to have too much of a Vu monopoly in Seattle.

Long-time lurker and long-time Rick's/Honey's visitor here. Ricksfan sums up the current Centerfolds situation accurately and here are a couple of other observations.
Parking/Entrance: The two parking lots closest to the club have signs stating "Business X Parking Only" and neither of them mention Centerfolds. The dancers mentioned (as did Ricksfan) that the parking lots across the street are available (Value Village, and next door, Safeway).
There's one entrance to the club: right on 15th Ave NW which is a fairly busy arterial during the day. No word on if the close parking lots are available later at night. If you're a daytime visitor this can be a slight distraction. Cover is $10 and there's a mandatory $5 drink. No glass filled with ice and a splash of soda, it's the whole can. Woohoo!
General seating is either the single-seat couches on wheels (like the ones at Lake City Vu) or bar stools/bar tables further from the stage. The floor is just concrete at the moment which really makes the place feel. Yucky.
They've taken out the catwalk and the stage/pole/mirror setup is getting a remodel; same with the bar. After reading the bathroom situation from Ricksfan I didn't even check it out (yay for this board!). Apparently these changes won't be for another month at least.
I had a few dances in the VIP section furthest from the entrance and can confirm Ricksfan's report. Be careful of the short coffee table in the center when you first walk up. The lighting is odd and you'll come close to knocking your knees if you're not careful. The ladies dressing room/restroom entrance is closeby and there's a couple of too-bright lights nearby when doors are opened.
I'll wait for the remodel before coming back. I guess it'll be Lake City Vu for a little while.
FYI, a few Ricks dancers went to LC Vu and this past Friday night the average number of hotties definitely went up (in my opinion, at least). More on that later. Have fun and be safe!
I went there recently on a week night. There were about 5-6 girls but more were coming in about 10pm as I was on the way out.
I recognized a couple of faces from Ricks and the dancers seemed friendly enough but I have to say, the floor manager (pear shaped, wears tie, seems like Michael Scott of 'The Office') is a dick.
I was having a dance in the back and he starts talking/joking and interrupting my dancer right in the middle of the song. Then he stood there in the walkway 3 feet away.
I hear it's because he wants better tips to leave the girls alone? Maybe.
I'll try again after the months remodel is done and maybe the furniture will be improved, but if that dick bothers me again I'll stop the dance and tell them I'm not paying for it.
So I decided to give Centerfold's another chance, a little less than a month later. The sign out front now says "Grand Re-opening June 25th & 26th". I'm sorry to say that it'll be a waste of time, and in my opinion this place should just shut down now. This ranks among the worst strip club visits I've ever had, and I don't think this place is going to make it.
When I first visited (see my review earlier on this club in mid-May), there were a handful of dancers, and the place had that "under construction" feel. I was willing to cut it some slack since it was just after the Rick's etc closures, figuring the good dancers were still feeling things out or working on arriving, etc. Surely a good percentage of the remaining good dancers at Rick's and elsewhere would find this place soon enough, right?
However, this time around? I can only assume that any good dancers have since been fired for giving *good* dances, or simply quit because they can't be making any money here and have switched to escorting, are dancing out of state, or simply quit the lifestyle. When I went in Friday afternoon there was I think two other male customers, a DJ- for god knows what reason- and the door girl who was an awkwardly cute young redhead, the kind of nerdy girl that reminds me of high school.
The dancers? Sweet fucking christ. The first to harass me by plopping down next to me was "Theresa" or "Delaney" depending on what she said versus the DJ's announcement. This creature HAD to be pushing 60, or a hard-living 50, claiming to have worked for TW clubs for the last 9 years. I was, and I'm not proud of this, simply and completely repulsed. She mentioned her "real" sister was working, Autumn. Autumn I think I might have seen at Rick's once or twice, but never gave her a second look since she also certainly seems to be in the Autumn of her career. Both should have hung up the stiletto's DECADES ago. It was embarrassing and awkward, with their gizzard necks and wrinkled faces. I'm no prize, but where is their sense of shame to not realize how unbelievably, epically far past their sell date they are? I can't imagine their dances were any good, but boy were they bitter when I wasn't biting; not surprised, I can't imagine they see more than a handful of faces all day.
These were the worst of the bunch, but no one else was much better. When trainwreck druggie lush Carrington is the best pick there, it's not a good scene. There was a Vixen was probably 30, reasonably thin but nothing special and kind of awkward face. A Mickey/Nikki was on stage but aged about 20 years as she walked closer. April was bleh, but also the only person in the "VIP" area with some bald dude. No one else was giving dances, and why would they? Oh, a Wednesday was there, and I'm still confused: I remember quite fondly a Wednesday from Rick's 2-3 years ago (Lara Flynn Boyle lookalike). This Wednesday apparently worked at Honey's, had similar black hair/large fakes and even if I recall correctly the same tattoos of pantyhose seams down the backs of her legs. Yet the woman I met today had a face that was completely different, and she claims she only worked at Rick's briefly in the fall of 2009. So either this was the same girl who's mistaken about her time at Rick's and she's absolutely PLUMMETED in looks, or eerily similar in some ways- breasts, one of the tattoos (if I'm remembering right), stage name- and yet a totally different person. I remember seeing her picture at the Talents West Best facebook "Last Night" photo album posted back on May 6th and thinking "Is that the same Wednesday as I remember from a couple of years ago? " and apparently no it's not. Or she lied about when she worked at Rick's, and her face is the tragic result of some type of addiction. Ouch.
This whole visit, which lasted all of 20 minutes and one lukewarm coke (it goes without saying I didn't spend more than $20: $10 cover, $5 coke can, and $5 tip for the drink girl who I felt sorry for having to work here), was incredibly depressing like something out of a nightmarish David Lynch film. I don't know if it's because the owner used to run a male strip club, but how he thinks any customers will come back if he's hiring geriatric has-beens or never-wases, I can't imagine. For all the shittiness of DV clubs, at least they hire some dancers who are in their 20's and moderately good looking (or occasionally hot, at least from the last time I was in there with any regularity a decade ago). When your business model is firing anyone giving high mileage dances and hiring grandmas, customers won't return and the dancers will leave without making any money.
A month ago, this place had possibility: the owner has apparently proven he doesn't grasp the basics of a strip club ecology. So unless I start hearing that all my old Rick's favorites still under the age of 35 are sucking and fucking in the VIP with wild abandon at cut-rate prices, I'll not be going back. Not when I can get a cute or even super hot 18-22 year old on tnaboard to come to my house and suck me dry.
So I'm heading out there tonight. Anyone have any recent things to say about them? I'll usually go there (cause its close and I know the girls), but I haven't been in a few months. At least since Rick's closed. How the "atmosphere" there now?

Just wondering if anyone has been to Centerfolds since they had their Grand Opening?
I went about a week before and it was terrible.
Three dancers
Door woman also was the floor manager and during my dances she practically sat down next to us.
Dabcers promise anything you want, and do not deliver.
Is it the same post Grand opening?
The place is still in construction. I was there during the evening- a few guys, around 8 dancers.
It seems the seating is in place. Two VIP areas with mini booths. One area near the door and the other in the same back area. The lighting in these areas is pretty bad. Dark with a glaring table lamp, makes it hard to watch your dancer.
I guess the idiot floor dude is gone but the woman manager is like a hawk, always pacing about. It's a bit much.
They have some attractive dancers but I really wonder if they will stick it out with such a low volume club? I'm not expecting the mileage to be that great with the hawk watching so that's not going to help them.
So I went back on my way home from work and checked it out.
Seems management is bound and determined to get rid of everyone who would want to patronize this place.
Door fee is now 10, and you still need to buy a drink. I got a bottle of water and paid with a 20, and the dick floor manager brought me a five and 5 ones back. Now I hate it when people assume a tip, but really dude, 5 bucks for you to hand me a bottle of water out of the fridge.
The lighting is low now and they seem to be really making a go at being a club. There were 3 girls on at the time but I was still the only guy there. I hate that, it's all eyes on you.
Got a dance with a sweet little (like 4 feet tall) spinner that said she used to work at Ricks, I tried talking that line up a little, How long she worked there and what not. Even dropped the "I used to have a LOT of fun there. " line but she wasn't biting.
Not that there was any privacy to do anything anyhow, not the way the booths sit and with mr. I expect a five spot checking on us twice in one song. And lastly, they cut the damn song short.
I took my one dance and left. I had to get home not smelling too much like stripper.
So how do you guys approach the girls, I was certain she works on the outside, but with no hints from here I was hesitant to breach the subject.
Just the outside of this place is so seedy that even I won't go in.
I visited Pittsburgh recently, where I used to live, and noticed that a lot of the strip clubs are way out in East Bumfock Township, way out on some county road where the nearest house is at least a couple miles away. That made me wonder, why do the clubs in Seattle locate right on the main drag? I know Seattle is more densely populated than Pittsburgh, but why not out in some unincorporated part of King Co, or near some industrial flats? And then there's this joint, the dancing bear, which seems to go out of its way to be an eyesore. At least Rick's was fairly nondescript on the outside...
Has anyone been to the Sands recently? My experiences there have been hit and miss in the past. For every amazing time (I dreamed about this older dancer with fake tits that took me on a trip to Russia, and the only question ever asked was "are you allergic to latex? "), there are several annoying times (I'm the only guy sitting in the chairs, nursing my stupid drink while all the girls are elsewhere).
Seems like no matter when I go there, the odds are I'll be the only guy out in the chairs, while the two girls working at the time are in the VIP with people that are not me.
I suppose I'm going to have to go take one for the team, but I hate the odds.
Have things gotten any better? Are there ex-Talents West dancers there now?
Sp,
I was just there recently. I recall back in the day it was better or as good as Ricks, alas, no club is even close now. If you visit, be prepared to still nurse that drink.
There were several guys when I was there which is good since the girls will actually dance on stage then. That was actually the reason I left this place before. The new girls were so lazy they would never get on stage, especially if you were the only customer. I recognized one Ricks girl but she seemed depressed.
Jamie is gone now, missed her by a week I guess. Blair recognized me and gave me a great welcome back dance routine. Just missed a hot blonde- arrived as I was leaving.
I guess I'll have to visit the DV now. Crap.
Can anybody give some details on dancer named Lily that works there?
she is vietnamese blonde.
Does anyone know where Bella from foxes is working now?

Thanks
I don't remember a Bella, but when I hit up Club Sin Rock last month several of the ladies mentioned they came up from Foxes.

They mention it's the same guy who tried to open a club on Aurora Avenue North.
It was previously mentioned here that the club this guy was trying to open would be yet another Vu-related club (like Little Darlings and Dreamgirls).
So I see this as part positive (Yea Rick's!) and part negative (Boo Vu!).
I also see this as jumping the gun a bit, because as is mentioned in the article, the building hasn't even been sold yet, so the guy filing for the permit doesn't even own the property yet. Either he knows something that I don't (which is most likely true), or he is really jumping the gun here.
On another note, I've been perusing the strip club reports from other cities (and, um, wow, there are some amazing stories out there), and it seems that Deja Vu doesn't always have a reputation of being the McDonald's of Strip Clubs. Take, for instance, some of the stories out of the Deja Vu in the City of Industry (that's one of the weird places in Los Angeles). Those stories actually sound better than some of the most amazing stuff I heard about Rick's and the Sands.
I also wonder why someone doesn't go out into unincorporated county land and build a club there. Avoid admissions taxes, avoid city vice squads, pay your taxes, give us some fun.
That being said, I also wonder why there aren't any gentlemen's clubs on indian reservations. Casinos seem to pass their moral test. I can only imagine that fun could be had in a club located on land that enjoys quasi-sovereign status.
LEO pal says that there is an informal "club" on Pulli lands.
Appears to be a small casino, gentlemen club is in back.

Do you have any more on that. Like a club name and where. I would be willing to check it out.
Although I still can't get myself to go in, it looks as if there is work being done on the Dancing Bare -- there is now a more visible sign, and another sign claiming that certain nights now have male dancers for the women that may feel left out since Centerfolds changed over to female dancers.
I guess the guy is making a run at it, but I can't see women wanting to go to a club that looks that seedy.
I mean, I admit it. I like seedy to a certain extent. I have fun at Fantasies Unlimited. I spent time watching the dancers through the glass at the Lusty Lady (RIP).
But if I can't seem to get up the nerve to go in to the Dancing Bare, I don't see how a group of women are going to decide to do it.
I guess I'm just chicken.
Far different experience from last time at the Dancing Bare. There were about 7-8 girls. I was not a regular at Ricks so don't know the girls who were there, but several of the girls said they had worked there before.
There were only a few guys in and out so the girls were hustling. A couple spent a fair amount of time on my lap out in the main area. One of the girls was talking about where she has worked and wants to work. Sounds like she liked working in full service locations.
I didn't have much money with me so got a sample dance from Courtney. It was pretty darn good for the $20 I spent. She said the boss there was relaxing quite a bit from when he first reopened.
As far as the boss guy, he wasn't as bad as last time. He stayed out of the way, but did make a few passes through. Cover was $10 and he brought me a pop without any extra charge.
Overall it is a big step up from a couple of months ago. Still a very seedy look to the place, but I like seedy so don't mind. Oh, they are adverising a male revue for this Saturday night. I can't imagine too many women going there because it is so seedy, but who knows.
I got word that Centerfolds has at least started seeing some of the renovations mentioned back in June, namely higher-backed/sectioned booth-style seats. They've been added to the section closest to the door and the lighting/dancing is reminiscent of better Ricks days. This may be worth a re-visit soon.

Hey all !! Peepers here !! I heard on the news they are selling all the old strip clubs and The new owners and in the Strip club industry ?? Does this make sense?? Get rid of Old Strip club owners and let in NEw strip club owners?
Yes, it makes sense because they did not get rid of the old strip club owners because of the strip club but for illegal activities like money laundering or something like that.
I remember one time I went to Honey's and the girls were really scared. Turns out I was there a couple of days after the FBI raided the place. Looking for evidence on other things and not really about the strip club activities. Same kind of thing recently happened in Portland to the owners of several strip clubs.
Well, since I posted last time, at least the owner of the Dancing Bare painted the facade red. Perhaps he reads this forum :) Whatever the case, let's give him credit for that, and the owner of Centerfolds doing all the renovations. Costs money, you know.
I've been underemployed for almost a couple years now, and can't afford to experiment or TOFTT as I used to. So I appreciate all the reports... the forum seems more active than last year.
Dboy, you mention a casino on Pulli lands. I've never heard of that tribe and can't even find it using a web search. Do you mean the Puyallup tribe? I'd like to know where that club is in case I'm traveling out that way sometime.
What I've heard about reservation casinos is they're good places to get laid with the local girls--who are not always super hot, but you're not paying either. A gentleman's club on a reservation, with completely different rules would be, hmm, a new experience.
