They were both on their way home from a really long day on Monday, and at about 1:30am, they were travelling along on RI Ave, when a dark colored semi with rather large headlights flashed them from the Shell closest to the roundabout.

A conversation ensued.

Robert: "Did you see the headlights on that semi? OMG! Lets check it out. "

John: "Sigh. Yea, Rob, I did, but we've had a long day, and I'm tired. "

Robert: "Correction. YOU'RE tired. I've done not a damn thing all day. I havn't ridden in a semi for a while, and you keep choosing these midsized cars for me to ride in. I like variety! Besides, Its been a while since you've gotten me a new whip to sample: turn around! "

So, reluctantly, John concedes, and turns around and heads back to the gas station. He pulls up at the pump, and they follow the semi into the station. After making small talk, the semi lets Robert know that she would like to make it rain on him. Despite John's lack of interest, Rob's muscles swell to a hardness not seen by any of them in quite a while. John notices, and decides to take a better look at the ride, to assess the situation. He notices that although this was indeed a huge truck, it was not bad looking, (face wise, anyway) and he knows he has picked up bigger and waaay uglier versions.

Slowly acquiescing, John leads the semi back to his car, and finds out that it would be $40 for the semi to blow Rob's horn, $60 to let Rob ride the semi, and $80 for both.

John decides to give Robert his treat, especially since it had been a while since Rob got a new whip to sample. The semi introduces herself as Unique Devine, and lets them know that she has a spot in Riverdale they can go to to do the deed. John drives 'them there, and Unique is actually able to garner his interest, as not only does she quickly identify his homeland, but she starts rattling off the names of artistes from said homeland, most of whom the average person of this fair land has never heard of.

They get to Unique's spot, which turns out to be her apartment, and, after John pays $60, he lets Rob take over. Rob gets a 1/2 way decent covered blow of his horn by Unique, then the semi turns around, and Rob dives in. He cruises at first, paying close attention to the feel of the leather against his clothed skin, and to the responsive mutterings of Unique's engine.

John: "Holy SHIT! WTF is that goddamn smell? "

Robert: "Good grief, John. Its only her exhaust, man. Havn't you gotten used to it by now? "

John: HELL no! I hate it when rides pollute the air with all that smoke. If they can manage to go to the bathroom and apply Jiffy Lube to their intake manifold, why the hell can't they take a moment to wipe up their exhaust too? Its just so blasted annoying. "

Robert: "Look dude. Are we buying this whip? No. We simply going for a joyride. So, kindly stfu so I can handle my business. "

Unique must have noticed the conversation that was going on, because she pulls away, then flips over, tires in the air and all, and tells Robert to dive back in. He does, and decides that he is done with cruising: he flings that gearbox into overdrive, and roars off to the finish line. 120 stm. 140. 150. Rob plants his foot hard into the semi, and in between grunts of exertion, is impressed with how the semi matches him pound for pound, as it were. Unique grinds her gears, flexes her intake manifold, and basically gives Rob a ride such as he has not had for a long, long time (actually, about a month, but whos counting? : P). Finally, with one last mash of the manifold, Rob and John both cry out in ecstasy, both spewing out expletives in their own way, if you get my drift.

After a bit of cleaning up, they drive Unique back to her spot, where she links up with two of her stablemates. One of them, while not a semi of Unique's size, seemed kinda thick, and had a great exhaust, it seemed. Why the hell would they make a SUV with a semi-sized exhaust? John couldn't help but think that Sir Trick would love to sample a ride in that midsized SUV. But maybe after he let Rob get a sample of it first! LOL.

Come to think of it, John thought, its probable that Sir Trick had already sampled that particular model; after all, based on his archives, he doubts there are many out there with performance exhausts Trick hasn't seen or driven! Chuckling to himself, John decides he definitely will sample that intake manifold, and write a report on this fair site. Who knows? Maybe he'll be brave enough to get pics too!

Vehicles. Don't'cha just love them? BTW, I got Unique's temp plates, just in case anyone else wanted a sample of her or her stablemates. Senior drivers only, tho!
