I have been in a land far far away for awhile but check here from time to time to see what is going on. I must say that it is great to see so many posts in so many different areas. It tells me first of all Freedom of Speech is working and powers of repression are not.

I know I am dreaming but maybe some day it will be like Honolulu where there are tons of cops on the streets. However, they rarely bust the girls. I have seen them tell them to go home and change their outfit. I have seen them protecting girls when guys were hassling them.

Bust the pimps. Bust the drug dealers. Leave the girls and their customers alone. Maybe Beary can take one of his famous junkets to Hawaii and learn something.

Beary could also learn alot from nevada! I have worked there and can honestly say I felt safer there than orlando.what I do not understand is girls that walk OBT when their phones aren't ringing! Too risky for me!

You guys are great. Everytime I check, there is new activity. Must be driving LE crazy. Like the Dutch kid with his finger in a dike (I always have thought there was more to that story). I feel for Mr. Spitzer and his family because our society makes Hypocrites and criminals out of all of us for doing what our genetic make up requires that we do. Sure we can control it somewhat but Mother Nature will always win in the end.

So NY loses a talented man that cleaned up a ton of corruption on Wall street, they blew up his family,career etc. for what--a BOGUS charge. he was just doing what his body is programmed to do.
If he was caught with his secretary nobody would care, John McCaine taps a lobbyist, naughty ,naughty, Belvin Perry chief judge in orange county gets caught tapping his secretary and he still sits in his office on top of that big courthouse in downtown Orlando. These men and millions of others are doing it every minute of every day, Spitzer gets ready for a great weekend in Washington with a PROSTITUTE, AND OH MY GAWD !!!

Like almost everyone who commits a "crime" after a while he got comfortable, he was dealing with a high end agency that takes precautions with their clients info., thus he was referred to as client#9. what he didn't realize was that the Feds were wiretapping the agency and one of the feds recognized the voice of client #9, Spitzer has a distinctive voice and demeanor and is on TV all the time, this wasn't his first rodeo, he was a regular client.

This is why we must all remain careful, after you've skated safely around the rink a hundred times you tend to think you can't fall and all of a sudden your sitting on the ice with a broken butt.
He got nailed and his life is down the tube, the same thing would happen to many mongers right here in O-town were their activities known.

The feds were targeting this agency because high end agency's have high profile clients and they look for RICO Act violations. I.E. organized crime convictions. They had him by the balls or he never would have admitted it.
Federal cases that go to trial have a 98% conviction rate. Why? Because they have unlimited time and money to gather evidence and they do.

The Patriot Act requires banks to pay more attention to these types of transactions and report any "suspicious" activity. Normally it take $10,000 to draw attention, but his repeated large transfers of multis-thousands did him in.

Great post - What a waste and what a foolish thing to do. Nobody, but nobody is immune. We are all on the wire, he of all people should have known the rules. Everybody in the world will be on You Tube this week and community TV next week.

Spitzer caused this - he just knew he was too big, too smart, and too powerful to get caught, especially at $5,000 a poke. He just knew that some things are guaranteed. The problem was, all the guarantees were in his own head, reality as it's played in the world has different rules. Very few people ever understand the difference.

No question he should be given a free pass, but, liberal crime buster that he may be, he is still a hypocrite, and that, to me, is the crime, hypocrisy. Was there ever a compelling need for him to prosecute prostitutes? (Interesting, the words have the same roots. I wonder if they are connected.) And the sharks on Wall Street, bloodied by him, smell his blood now. It's all too sad.

This has nothing to do with the Patriot act. Any deposit or withdrawal over $10,000 get reported and this has been the case for the last 25 years (long before the Patriot Act). If anything they should probably adjust the amount for inflation and up it to $25,000. The thinking is that it may also be involved with his campaign accounts. A Governor or a State Attorney General does not have that kind of money to throw around. He has been in relatively low paying government jobs and could not possibly be able to afford the type of women he has spent money on. That is the red flag that got this dumb a** under the microscope for being stupid. He needs to go to jail for stupidity not for prostitution.

None of Spitzers transactions crossed the $10,000 threshold. The suspicions were rased by the pattern of transfers to the same recipient by a government official.

Saw an ad last week for a beauty visiting for a week. She has good reviews from this forum and other sites. I called her to set up an appointment, but got spooked. Here are the reasons, let me know if I am crazy.

1) Her phone number had recently changed.

2) Her incall was the same exit as the 33rd street jail

You listened to that inner voice, not a bad thing. Based on the conversation I'd say you did the right thing, if it was being taped you could be cooked. You asked for a price, she gave you a FS price and mentioned condoms. The maid isn't gonna through out anything unless it's used.

I had a similar experience last week. I called one of my local favorites and she had incall. It was near I4 and John Young and I declined, too close for comfort. There's a Days Inn a block from the jail, they could walk you to the lock up so I declined.
