Caveat emptor is "let the buyer beware." I agree it is indeed a buyer's market though. I have a question because I always respect the Goddess's opinion. I see some ladies advertise "special" this or "special" that. "Slow today because of football." They always say 100hh and 150hr. In my opinion that has been the non-discounted rate for some time. A special to me would be 80hh and 125 hr. Why does the "special" rate always seem to be the same as the normal rate? I'm guessing the rates I just mentioned would increase the demand in the down economy.

I agree that 100/150 is the median now here. I am so low volume here I am almost non-existant LOL. I think rates depend on the provider and what they offer. In my opinion gfe is not for everyone and therefore demands a higher price. My rates on bdsm are always higher being that it is much more physically strenuous on me. Rates also vary by region, hence why I travel alot. While 80 hh brings in more customers, in my opinion. Going below 100 also brings in a differenet type of customer. This does not apply to gentlemen here, but when you run extremely low rates your clientele changes as does the danger associated. I think each female should do what she is comfortable with. I will test your rate theory and see how it goes (see classified)

Us ladies will accept alot of negotiations. Sometimes rates, other times it may be the services we provide. If I lowered my rate, I would have 2 am calls every early morning. Fortunately, I have not had to encounter an unsafe situation, but I have received numerous phone calls that were scary. Men requesting me to come to Grant and OBT area.(NOT HAPPENING). Calls from drunks, or people wishing to "Trade" for things. I tried the 80hh route, it didn't help.

Some providers are in this business for simply the money, and for shopping or drug addictions, then you have providers such as some on this board, who do this to make ends meet and pay bills. Orlando is a tough market. I know that I have never so much difficulty paying the bills, as I have since I moved to Orlando. You absolutely get what you pay for. Obviously someone offering.30hh and.80fh is not what you want. And even 80hh. May get you one of these young girls who are either a bait and switch, a ROB or someone who has no sense of discretion.

I just saw three....count 'em....three ads just posted today in the classified section with hourly rates of $120-125. I think we need to step up and send some extra business their way to show our appreciation.

Once again you speak very honestly!!! I read your ad in Classifieds and saw your testing the theory before I read it hear. It maybe working I have a real tough week BUt may be ready to visit on Thursday evening. I will PM you as time gets closer!!! Keep giving the great advise!!

Both Goddess and Jenna make good points, that if they request a donation that is too low, they get unsavory types calling them. What I would suggest, is offering a significant discount in the ads for friends that have visited before. Say, one day a month, or every other month, 50% off for old friends.

In these tough economic times, hobbyists often have very limited recreational resources. 100 or 150 maybe something a hobbyist feels is not in the budget at this time, but if there was a blue-light special of 50% off, he might have to re-think the budget priorities.

That way the providers can keep away the riff-raff and have a better chance to stay in touch with safe regulars.

This is a great idea. We all like to feel like we are "special" especially if we have been friends previously. The hobbyists as well as the providers like to be considered as extraordinary. Not sure if I like the "blue-light" special connotation (LOL), but this is a super idea.

Another option is an extended visit at a good rate.

I used to see a girl who worked at a strip club in Tampa. We would meet at one of the hotels near Disney, have a nice dinner then spend the night together and most of the next day. All for a very reasonable $400. I called her my muse. She was very inspiring. Super girl in every way. Other than when we first put this "deal" together, money was never discussed.

When times are tough, it is these kind of "relationships" with regulars that will see you through.

I travel alot when I am home I prefer relaxation with regulars only.

When taking new appts, there is always the anxiety and needing the references and verification.

I like gaining new friends but not at the reckless cost of losing my peace of mind.

Extended time rates are good too. I understand the thrill for men of risk+pleasure. I have outgrown the excitement of being scared to death upon initial meeting LOL.

I agree with exec I offer 4 hour dinner dates for 550 and have for a long time. I figure if you are willing to spend all that time with me the least I can do is offer a deep discount. Also I will ALWAYS work with my regulars and have always offered discounted multi hour or hour and half sessions [seeing guys like this cuts down on my turnover which is definatly safer ] Also guys the ads on some of the other sights with low rates tend to be one of 3 things a bait and switch, a girl on drugs/with manangement, or a credit card scam be careful. It's still the best route to go with providers with reviews.

I have a provider whom I have asked several times for a trip to Greece.

Said she doesn't do that.
She called me one day and said if i take the trip slow she was willing to ride along.

Bottom line is most providers are providing the trip now and she was losing accounts by not offering the trip.

She adapted to the circumstances and now her clientele is larger than ever and growing.

Not saying all providers need to offer just saying sometimes you have to adjust with the times.

P.S she found out she really enjoys it.

The blue light thing was just a joke, like a department store special. Perhaps my odd sense of humor does not always come across to everyone.

My point though, was to say a hobbyist might be willing to spend if the the special was special enough. As always, a lady can request whatever she chooses and can see whoever she likes. I was just trying to give a perspective from a hobbyist's point of view.

They would put it in a section of the store where their next special is, and turn it on and make an announcement that for the next 15 minutes such and such item was marked down significantly. Hence the term "blue light special".

They probably did away with this about 25-30 years ago so it probably isn't recognized by anyone under 40.

I rather offer attractive specials to my regs or people from here persay that I would be comfortable with, than to a complete stranger from a generic posting site that would have me a nervous wreck especially since the past week here. Elsewhere in the country " specials" are unheard of. It's amazing how things change state to state. I have met many wonderful mixtures of gentlemen and ladies. There are some great gentlemen with kind hearts and great passion from this site that are special.
