Got mama on the phone tonight, she finally admits that they are open now (they were claiming to be closed until today).

I asked what time they will open in the morning, she said 10am.

I asked if Deedee was there and to my dismay she told me "Deedee not here anymore we have new girl, skinny girl" (Lilly).

I decided this would be a good time for a 1st post. A little comparison between the walk up and elevator locations. First the elevator. Nice location easy to get in and out. Interior was a bit more upscale. Met by Lora at the door, tall 40ish with big ol' titties. TS was decent but was a little quick. Attention to the proper areas. Back in the room massage was about a 5. But playful teasing before the flip was extended and excellent. Couldn't wait for the flip. Asked me what I wanted and I suggested BJ for. 8 which was acceptable. Began by strattling me 69 style. Very good technique. I was given full access no rush. Overall great service and I gave her an extra. 2 because I am a nice guy.

My ATF was a gal named Tisha from DT. We meet a few times in DC and about a month later I was at a Spa on Rt. 1 in Laurel and guess who came in? My luck I guess, but we exchanged numbers and got together over the next 6 months several times outside the AMP. Lets just say WOW, this gal was not only a great provider, but a nymph as well. I had a few hours to spare for some play. After I found a place to park I figure I would try to see if theres anything roaming the streets but no luck there so I went to the Mist. There girls were fairly decent looking. The TS was nice and I was cleaned in all the right places. I realy wanted a good massage and once I got back into the room and she started the massage I relized this Is not going to be anything good. She asked what I wanted and I should have just took the small loss of the door fee but the little guy did not let me. Fees were the same as most AMPs but I was in and out in about 25 minutes.

I have proposals on how we could eventually legalize brothels.
I think that the District of Columbia would be the best place to try and start this.

Imagine how glorious is could be.

There are benefits to legalizing this, one main benefit is safety. There is no safety for the ladies, the gentlemen, and the location if something should go wrong. She cannot call the police, you cannot, completely compromising everyone's security.

Countries that legalize this usually tax the business owner for running this type of business. The business then runs according to government standards, (that usually set safety, and hygiene standards for the establishment) , and require the business to show proof that their employees are safe through blood tests.

But I doubt of any political movements holding ground any time soon on this issue.

Since then almost every state has legalized gambling to some degree in an attempt to fix budget problems.

When I was born only one state had legal brothels, Nevada.

They know how to make money: first they introduced legal brothels (Geylang) , now they legalized gambling (can you imaging: local people are paying $100 just to enter casino!). No wonder they have such a budget surplus.

The problem is that law enforcement only enforces the law, not make the laws. Any politicians reading this board are on the illegal side of the game and are in no position to change the law.

The AIDS argument does carry weight. If this town is as liberal and progressive as it proclaims to be, those living in Tenleytown should be VOCAL about legalizing prostitution to enforce laws and rules that safeguard sexworkers and their clients-as well as require regular check-ups, STD screening, and the mandatory use of condoms.

But, oh, wait they are the ones that didn't want an adult bookstore in their neighborhood.

When police raided the business, located on the 1800 block of M Street Northwest, they found “a large quantity of U.S. currency hidden in lotion dispensers with false bottoms, and hidden condoms.”

Authorities said they seized more than $70,000 overall, including money that D.C. police officers had paid out during their undercover work.

In court papers, authorities want a judge to order Jasmine Therapy closed, saying it operates as a front for a house of prostitution.

Police raided the business after a different visit by an undercover D.C. police officer, who also gave $200 after being asked for $70.

According to the complaint, the officer also took off his clothes and headed to the shower room, but declined a massage afterward, saying he didn’t have the time. The woman “made a sexual motion simulating intercourse,” left the room and returned with a condom, court filings say.

That was when police raided the business, acting on a signal from the officer. The two women, identified only as D1 and D2 in the court papers, were arrested on charges of solicitation and giving massages without a license.

Fellows. I'm Canadian of Belgian descent, where I made my rounds in Quebec as a young one in legal institutions.

I now live in Bangkok (here, in DC briefly for work) and I can truly say, countries or municipalities who understand the economic benefits of our hobby are the enlightened ones. I was in BKK during the red-shirts last year and the economy suffered significantly during that time. Tourism dropped, stores closed, everything halted. Yes- because of protests, but there was also a significant vacuum in the economy because my fellow mongers shied away. Only now have things gotten back to normal economically.

It's been mentioned already in this thread, but where gov'ts get it right, workers are carefully screened for STDs (bad for business if a monger turns up drippy) , businesses are properly taxed, everything is licensed and for the most part orderly. Sure there are still pushy touts, and rip offs to be had. But for the most part, the scene is safe, fun and constant. And that's why places like Singapore, Bangkok, and others are climbing the economic ladder.

USA is always funny to me. So puritanical (appearingly) but also so violent. Ok- off my soap box. Sorry.

Really, I'm sorry the AMP scene has these ebbs and flows here in DC. And moreso, I'm sorry the ladies who work in them are losing their livelihoods, their inability to send their families remittances, subsidize educations, etc.

I had a rough day (actually week) at work, things are stressful as expectations are high.

My stress level was off the charts.
Until, I visited my favorite spa. I was met by my regular who I think loves me, or at least loves my tips (which is good enough). She met me in the sauna and gave me the most authentic GFE. I am not arguing that it was real, but in my mind it felt as real as anything I have known.

What she did was lower my stress level by magnitudes. Which in turn lowers my blood pressure and other potential health related stress problems.

What DC Metropolitan does when they close a spa is mess with my physical and mental health.

This is the reason I take these closings so personally. Not only that, it is a complete waste of tax payer dollars.

If my spa girls call me, you can be sure I will be there for them day or night.

Well for those of you east of Ohio I have good news. Nicole how was a super star at Sun Spa in Warren, Ohio has relocated to the DC area. She is amazing, especially if you like very affectionate spinners. Visited 1333 the other day. Hadn't been there in ages. Heck, hadn't been to an AMP in ages. So this visit was all the more pleasing for me. My masseuse was Missy from NYC. About 30ish; a bit older for my taste (I prefer 20-somethings) , but she had a great bod. TS was very thorough. Stopped by my regular place to find that the door frame was covered in tape labeled "evidence". If you've been then you know.

Went down the street, to the place next to a restaurant that a guy with my name would clearly love. You know the one.

Was met at the door by KoKo. Petite, nice, wonderful breasts, good looking face, but her fake eyelashes were a bit distracting.

Had some fun at an old favorite (with an old favorite for that matter) at a certain place higher up the red line than closings are happening. Hadn't been in a while, but they're still around, and business seemed pretty slow. First time I've gotten an actual lineup.

After reading the last few pages of posts I figured I would give Sky or Mist a try. I went to Craigslist and Backpage and the only one of the two that advertised was Sky. It gave the address so I tried there. I could not find the address or number or advertisment for Mist. I did some of the tourist thing for a while then tried to find Sky for later that night. I found the address and it did not look good. The only place opened in the building was a psychic reader. He said that Sky was shut down 3 days ago. (I guess since he is a psychic he know what I was there for.) Went to the old Downtown. It is now called Vermont Therapy. 80 for an hour and it did not look promising for later so I left. The place across the street from Archibalds was closed as well. The only other place was M street spa. On the 2nd or 3rd floor. It is now called Smile. You guys probably already knew that. It looked promising so I said I would be back later that night.
