As we all can imagine, this is a tricky issue. On the one hand, we don't want to be caught without enough to cover the donation. On the other hand, we don't want to be running around with a lot of extra cash.

My solution is to bring what I think is reasonable based on local rates and perhaps reports in the threads. If I think I might need more, I stash some extra cash in my trunk in a safe spot.
