15th Ave Bookstore

If one were to go to Galaxy on Manheim you will find many booths with the glory holes. Is this place in Stone Park and the LE there don't care? It can't be the neighbors, its located out of the way industrial area whereas Galaxy is right off the main drag.

They did a six minute piece on what happens inside. They even had a grainy video that you could not see very well but left the viewer no doubt that consenting adults may actually be having sex! Shocker. EVen hinted at alcohol being offered by employees. Even showed that kids may visit the store across the street and may somehow be in harms way if the kids happen to have X-ray vision and can see what is going on inside the 15th.

Went around the village and asked the standard questions to the residents who were all shocked that sex is taking place inside their fair community. (Wonder how all the residents got their kids? Adoption?)

Would seem to me, most Gholes are mostly used like it is on mannheim where mutual hetero contact is done behind closed doors or in the darkness. In fairness I think that you would have to concede that both 15th Ave and CT's can be slow during the daytime. Basically hookers can set up shop at CT's (obviously with Pete's approval) and troll for clients (read all Pete's announcements of the 'new' dancers at CT's if you don't believe me). Pete provides the facilities and takes half of what the girls get from their clients. Some would argue that that makes him a pimp. One thing that 15th Ave never did was actively encourage prostitution; rather my understanding is that any act of prostitution resulted in the parties involved being ejected from the premises with instructions that they were banned from ever returning. Nothing like that will ever happen at CT's, so yes, if you have the money in hand and are willing to pay significantly more for 'professional' vis-à-vis 'volunteer' pussy on a table, CT's offers a lot more day time, play time, to offer.

Nor do I believe that the Melrose Park authorities really care about what happens in these adult bookstores. Melrose Park was (and may still be) a Mob town. The authorities could easily insist on closing all the glory holes at the Galaxy just as they did with 15th Ave. I suspect that the reason 15th Ave is still getting all the attention is because the authorities don't want a repeat of the Fox news exposé. At the very least they do want to be able to demonstrate that they took all reasonable steps to prevent sexual activity occurring there again. With regards to the Galaxy, they can at least (for the first exposé) plead surprise and ignorance (rather what they did with 15th Ave). After that I think you will find that the Galaxy will receive just as much attention as 15th Ave is currently receiving.

If so isn't that almost the same thing? It's just not as blatant cause the customers are not paying the couples themselves only the door and or spa fee!

Prostitution is defined as any sexual penetration or touching or fondling of the sex organs of one person by another person, for any money, property, token, object, or article or anything of value. Pimping is defined as receiving any money, property, token, object or anything of value from a prostitute, not for a lawful consideration, knowing it was earned in whole or part from the practice of prostitution. Keeping a place of prostitution is defined as knowingly granting or permitting the use of any place for the purpose of prostitution. At least in very general terms those as the definitions for Illinois and similar definitions likely apply in Indiana.

The biggest problem is establishing the association between the act and the remuneration for the act. The greater the separation the more tenuous the association becomes. Adding to this complexity is that there are three parties involved: the ABS, the woman and the patron, each of which have different associations and remunerations. I suppose that you might be able to argue some theory of conspiracy but that would be very difficult to prove. But I'm sure that you already knew that.

Is it the same thing? I don't know. To prove a crime all elements of the crime must be proved. If you can't prove that something of value was exchanged for a sexual act, you've failed to prove one the necessary elements for it to be an act of prostitution. Least with CT's the issues are very clear cut. The dancers provide sexual services for money that they receive directly from the patron (prostitution) ; CT's receives a share of these earnings (pimping) ; in return for providing a safe haven (keeping a place of prostitution).

Having said that, and knowing how Sheba and her husband used to hold parties out at 15th Ave and charge admission and Nancy use to have gatherings where porn movies of her were shown in the theater, I do understand how these rumors might started. Femcar is another matter and any rumors are probably unwarranted. The question at the end of the day is would any of these women turn to a complete stranger and say 'I will fuck you for x dollars, but only if you pay me x dollars' recognizing that x dollars is negotiable. I don't think that any of these women will while almost all the dancers at CT's most certainly do. That is the distinction.

This forum exists for the purpose of helping men find women for sex, usually paid sex. It involves discussions of providers, locations, prices and the like. Does LE peruse forums like this for intel? Yes it is very likely. But it becomes self-defecting to the function and purpose of the forum if everyone is too scared to post anything out of fear drawing the unwanted attention of LE. And to try and conceal activities with enigmatic talk of 'librarians' and 'readings' serves only to confuse novices and fools and does nothing to hinder the efforts of LE. The greater threat of having unwanted attention drawn to these entertainments venues is more likely to come from dissatisfied patrons than any comments made here. Some time ago there was an individual who went by the name 'Village Idiot' who launched a campaign to have 15th Ave shut down and who might have been responsible for the Chicago Sun Times and Fox News picking up the story. And there is one of the girls kicked off CT's Yahoo site that has sworn to have CT's shut down. I would suggest that these are the things that should be in your thoughts as you work your worry beads.
