In addition to this stroll, I heard something about "near the airport". Is there a specific area around the airport that you all look? (It seems that most cities have some street action around their airports for some reason).

Airport / Olivette area has always been blah for me. I'm not even sure the airport asians are around (I would not reccomend). Backpage on the airport offerings also doesn't look too good. That said, the reason for activity would be the high transit demographic.

I had some running around to do Sunday evening around 10 pm and decided to do a lap before I headed home. I saw nothing on SBW so I hit grand and saw an attractive thin blond with long hair named "Angie". She didn't have on the typical street walker outfit. In fact she looked really nice. Guys that were arrested were with all the other criminals arrested, they were not singled out on their own facebook page.
From my POV, it has worked. I will not be slowing down in that area anymore.
My only question is why they don't do this for every crime. Were is the focused list of guys who beat women? How about the list of women who have stolen from men?
Let's keep street-walking in some perspective here STL police, if these women were walking the streets in NoCo, the police wouldn't give a shit. The only reason they care now is this false idea that South Broadway will ever be what it was in the past. As long as the scrap metal place and the various biker bars are there, the street will remain a shit hole. Not to mention the street is bookended by a halfway house and 'retirement' facility.
In the last 3 years there have been 15 or so small businesses try to open and all are closed right now. It is not because of the streetwalkers, it is because 75% of the residents are lower income and cannot support your supposed 'renewal'. Drive up and down the other streets off Broadway and you will see what I mean. These are not middle class residents.
To jump on the train of thought here, it's not like any of these working girls are imported. If they don't actually live on SBW, they're only a few streets away, or maybe even in another (run down) section of the SS. Sure, I've picked up a girl or two who actually did come from random small town X to scrape up some change, but the majority of the SW are part of the very same residents that complain about the prostitution problem. As long as SBW is a poor section of town, providing housing to a carousel of drug pushers and small time offenders, there will always be SW activity. Seriously, the girls have to make a living somehow. We are not the dangerous element coming into the neighborhood; the neighborhood is a dangerous element in and of itself. In all honesty, I do feel for the straight and narrow folks who don't want to live among the debauchery and stuff, but hey, I didn't grow up in the greatest neighborhood either, so what do you do? Move. All this stuff moves in cycles. The block is locked down pretty tight right now, but in a couple of years, who knows. There are still girls out there, if you want them. Just have to be careful as always.
At any rate, it might be a good time to just save up a few bucks, and maybe work on some old fashioned macking. Even a bottom rung civilian is better than eighty percent of what you'll scrape up off the street.
But I'm just talking.

For those seeking hourly motels on the Missouri side, there are 3 motels on Watson Road just east of Laclede Station Road that have hourly rates. The motels are called The Wayside, The Duplex, and The Chippewa. All 3 are within a block of each other. These motels aren't far at all from the southside stroll. And you can use them for UTR and BackPage ladies who may require an outcall. Be sure you and your date wear your seatbelts because County Police like ticketing drivers in this area who don't wear seat belts. The police even sometimes have an electronic "Click It or Ticket" sign posted near the motels (you know one of those electronic signs on wheels with police cars stationed nearby). You'll want to drive carefully, obeying all traffic laws and stop signs around here.

Some folks occasionally include a couple other streets like Academy. They can chime in with other cross street tips. So from your hotel in Clayton, you could take Skinker northward to Page Avenue. Hook a right on Page; then a very quick left on Hodiamont. Hodiamont is where the MLK stroll begins. Drive northward on Hodiamont for several blocks to MLK drive. Turn right on MLK and drive to Kingshighway. That's basically the MLK stroll. MLK is mostly BSWs with some occasional WSWs. Be careful here. It's dangerous with both cops and robbers.

MLK stroll starts at Hodiamont on the west to Kingshighway on the east. It is not a constant run though. There is a large church and development in the middle of that stretch that effectively discourages illegal activity. I applaud the efforts being made to revitalize that area. Hodiamont between MLK and Page seems to have some strollers, also. I also get random offers on multiple offshoot streets from casual loungers hanging near wherever I park.
Hopefully, you already know this, but always keep your distance from the hyperactive zombie types, male or female.
