One thing that almost always guarantees I won't return to a place is being shorted on time. I'm not talking about five or even ten minutes either. If I am shorted by fifteen or twenty minutes or more that's it. With the very rare exception, I won't visit again. I never understand when I read someone complaining about having their time shorted but they didn't do anything about it. If they try to short you either call them out on it and get your full time, get some of your money back, or as you did, short them on the tip to in effect get some of your money back.

Luckily, I travel so can take advantage of better places elsewhere.
