I went there once I dated a girl. After I was done I was bloody as if I had been stabbed or cut. Damn girl period was on. I was so mad I requested the manager give me my money back. I have not cruised that area in decades, but it used to be one of the most productive areas in town. Alas, the El Ranchito tamale place closed down a long time ago, and I have not seen one of those tamale carts in a long time. Has anyone seen one of the tamale carts lately?? I used to eat off them a long time. There were always carts along Lamar north of 240 headiing back into town, especially in between Semmes and Pendleton. I used to work in that area and ate off those carts a lot. Four tamales and some crackers for a buck as I recall. And those vendors knew the area and the folks that cruised the area. If you were out there picking up girls, they knew it and would sometimes give you the inside track on the goings-on. Especially if there was a tranny working the area, they would warn you. Sort of like a little community watch program. ;^)

Pardon the length of this, but I felt the need to post concerning the state of this board and the hobby First of all, I have only been a part of this hobby for about 11 months now, so I do not consider myself anywhere near the levels of mongering set by a lot of the Senior Members (and we all know who they are). I still consider myself Grasshopper to all you Master Po's. That being said, I have crammed a lot of experiences into my brief time on this board, and have always tried to play nice and get along (except for my brief, yet intense, flame war with Strawberrie). I get tons of pm's from people, expecially newbies, asking for my advice or opinion on various providers. I have always tried to help out where I could, but 2 recent events have taught me the hard way that you can be too helpful and that trust goes a long way in this little hobby. I pmd some of the more trusted Seniors a few weeks back about a guy with zero posts who was asking some red flag questions about providers. I stopped replying to him and he has since vanished into thin air. He smelled like pork to me, and I even considered the fact that this was someone with a personal issue with me trying to set me up. Im still not sure and probably never will.

Then a couple of weeks ago I find out that someone who has a few posts on this board has told two seperate providers that he knows my real world identity. I had sent him an email back last summer asking him about a review he had posted on a provider, and we emailed back and forth for a few days. In fact, I believe I told him about this board during those conversations. Now I find out that he is talking to providers about who I am and how he knows all about me. It doesn't even matter that he was way off on his assumptions about me. The fact is he stuck his nose into a place it shouldn't be. I sent him the following pm:

"It seems that you and I need to come to a little understanding. I don't care who you fuck, when you fuck them, or how often you fuck them. All I ask is that you keep my name, and anything you may think you know about me, out of any discussion you may have with any provider you might see. This hobby is about discretion...you need to remember that.

I hope we can come to a gentleman's agreement on this issue. I don't care who you are and why you do what you do. Please give me the same consideration."

He sent an apology and that was that as far as I am concerned. I took care of it in pms, so his identity shall remain anonymous, unless he f**** with me again. Believe me when I tell you that the only "tongue lashing" I ever planned on giving in this hobby was to a provider.

The bottom line is that in this hobby and on this board: Trust MUST be earned. There are providers who i have trusted with information about my real life, with the understanding that it goes no further. Every time I make a phone call or drive to see a provider, I put my "real life" at risk. And trust me when I tell you that anyone who decides to get their nose into my life outside this hobby is crossing a line that should never be gotten near. I am married with children, and if i get out of my marriage it will be on my terms without my family knowing that Daddy is paying to get laid. My "real life" is already better than reruns of General Hospital, so I'm not looking to add anymore drama to my day to day existence. Did you guys know that a provider out of Nashville recently showed up at a guys work demanding $$$ because she thought he had ruined a social she was setting up? And did you know that a monger went with her to the guys office? So please don't tell me that I'm over reacting to all this. Trust and discretion is all we have in this hobby. This board is a hell of a way to disceminate information , but don't expect to be given all access because you ask nicely. You earn your trust by providing useful information....and this goes for providers as well as mongers. The more useful information you post, the quicker you will be granted access into the inner sanctum of this board. (the initiation is a ***** though)

I have always treated providers with respect, and while a few have gotten pissed at me for something I posted, for the most part I have developed some very good relationships with them. Yeah, I have taken some to lunch and even brought a gift or two to a session. Those are just ways I have of telling them "thank you" for putting up with an old man with a below average sized dick. Hell, at least I'm honest.

Again, pardon for the length of my rambling. I feel much better now. It was either this or in the immortal words of the great philosopher Sheriff Buford T. Justice "Soon as I get home, first thing I'm gonna do is punch yo mamma in da mouth!" I thought the former was more appropriate.

I agree with you 100%. Trust is a big issue. Each time we see a provider for the first time we walk the edge, trusting someone with and giving them the potential to ruin our real lives.

Pro's know and respect that. It is why I only play away from home, and have in the past hooked up with regular women met through other means for repeat visit when I'm in their area. But still often desire the services of a true professional provider.

Other mongers that break this trust are the worst, it is that disrespect that really upset me. The drama created by some lower level providers is almost expected, sad to say, and as mentioned all steps should be taken to not let them near your real life.

This hobby, habit mixes all types of people together, and like other fringe elements of acceptable society often people deep in forget that the rest of us exsist out side and have much to lose, and protect.

This would would be a great idea. Daytime is the best time for a meet. If we could designate 1 Senior to hook this up with the remaining senior members that would be great. Not calling any names but CK would be one that comes to mind. Of course I would assist if needed. We all know who the senior members are so it wouldn"t take long to hook this up.

Assuming I'd get an invite, I'd try to be there. I'd just have to arrange some time off if it was a day trip. I wear a company specific shirt and drive a company car in the daytime.
