It's my first time actually filing in. Like busting your cherry, you wish to be memorable and lasting. Unfortunately, not this night. I'd finally brought enough courage and actually did the K-Stroll. And like any monger on their first rodeo, you are like hypersenstivie.

Yet, having that first time jitters, you're glad you have that.

I drove the length of the stroll and immediately, LE was about in every other corner. And since I'm new to the scene. I don't know the players from LE. It was hard to go once over the stretch since LE is being agressive in out of state plates.

I'd had to park around the corner and walk a couple of blocks to find a suspected SW near the K-stroll. This woman was a skinny girl about maybe late 20. I'd passed her by on my first mounted go around. She was waving cars by. It seemed mighty fishy considering there's LE crawling. So, on my dismounted stroll, I'd tried to make conversation asking directions. She sounded to wacked out or she was acting fishy.

No more then 2 to 3 minutes, a big guy emerges out of a resturant. Clean cut for a pimp. Wears his street clothes different. I'd had to release the bait and let the SW go. AtTimes, in the Amazon river natives, they place a sacrificial ox out in the river on it's own upstream to have phirranahs gobble the poor aniimal up. Have a feeling this might be the case.

Just wish'd for those instuction booklets. LOL. Yet, it was quite fun. Just like the old glory days from yours truly.

Walking around late night in my mind is more dangerous then having out of state plates and passing a few LE. My spider senses always tingle when I see a possible SW with her pimp or one that waves down cars (desperation driven typically) I stay far and away from these situations. Borrowing from a lyric of an old 60's song appropriately called," Itsy bitsy teenie weenie Yellow polka dot bikini", That's how I'm feeling about jumping to the life of Mongering. Now, don't get me wrong, back in the days, I was Monger in another place in a different time called Europe-in places where Posties were legal. Yet, there were two breeds of Prosties. Brothel ladies and Streetwalkers.

Even there, Streetwalkers are still dangerous since they are not "sanctioned" or taxed by their respective countries. Plus, SW usually are human traffikers victims from Eastern Europe. Most of us Mongers know the ins-and outs of those poor situations.

Got back to the K-Stoll during the daytime. So much better observing with sunlight than on the evening. Better to see the Big Bad Wolf lurking on every other korner.

I'd did observe a SW, which later on, I'd found out that SW had a Pimp. She was a bit plumped but doable. Yet, it still find it at odds. Pimp did provided some info of Undercover 5-0 lurking among the regulars. Considering that I still don't know the area, I'd didn't bite today. Pimp asked for. 5 for FS and for extra. 1, he'll come along for a threesome. Not my cup of tea.

I've been reading so much from you senior Mongers and I'm at awe. Truly, I know the tips are all in the previous post. I just have to make it work for me. So far, it will take some time to get used to the strolls. To all Mongers. I salute you all.

Usually not as many girls avail on Torresdale but that street runs into Kensington where you are sure to find a new friend.

Best time for a stroll is in the afternoon, especially on Saturdays when many new faces seem to show up. Also lots of civilians out so mongers don't stick out like a sore thumb. Don't worry about telling the SW from the civi. She will be the one looking at you, maybe smiling.

Melisa has this ability to change her appearance, at least to my eye, so I usually don't realize it is her until I am talking to her. This has happened on more than one occasion.

I have been seeing Teresa for maybe about 4 months now. I can honestly say that what Fkdave has said about her is true. She's totally gorgeous, she's got one of the best bodies I've ever seen, she's very cool, she's honest and most of all, she's am amazing provider.

As with any info you get here, you always want to take it with a grain of salt. But I can tell you that with Teresa, I can finally say I've had a true girl friend experience. OMG. When you least expect it. Was running up Huntington Street past Huntington Station without planning on turning onto the K when I see the elusive Jackie Dade. In South West Philly look on Elmwood and Woodlawn between 61st St and 70th St.

Oh, and your plan to drive around a while and observe is probably an excellent idea. Start slow, get a lay of the land. Know where the turns are, side streets and quick exits (if needed). Then get a feel for the local fauna and its timing and locations. Then ease yourself into interactions with the fauna. Maybe just some questions or chat a few times to get a feel for the game. [never feel obligated, but don't waste the girl's time] Once you get your skills set, the comfort will come and you'll be prepared to jump when needed. Always good to keep some awareness of one surroundings. Even after some comfort is established. But rushing yourself into things might result in a number of lessons being learned "experientually!" Have seen a few noobes come on here and swear off the hobby after rushing into the game and paying a high up front "tuition" in the school of mongering. There is a price to be paid in learning any new skill. One can take it slowly and learn in bits or take big hits of "education" all at once. I prefer the former approach and it sounds like you are on the same path.

Ok so here goes my first post went hunting on the K today in the after noon. Went from one end to the other and noticed very minimal Leo activity compared to my first foray on the k. That was a Friday night over the summer and There were so many police I thought I was in 1989 E Germany. I either stayed at the Holiday Inn on Packer or the Airport Towers on Penrose. I had some of the best times of my life in that area. S. Frankford line, so was thinking of taking the train and getting down at one of the stations on K like Huntingdon or something and walking out to check the girls. Is that a bad idea? Is it safe to get down there and walk on the street? Are there any better times than others? Is there a restaurant I can sit at and see some action?

Are you just looking or, if you find a girl you like, do you have a place to take her? Are you going to feel comfortable going to a place she suggests?

If you feel comfortable with your answer to these questions then I would suggest the Huntingdon stop then staying between Lehigh and Front on the K. If you go down a side street there's no need to go past Jasper if you're alone. There are a couple of restaurants by Seargent but keep in mind this is an Asian area, so if you're not Asian you will be in the minority.

Most importantly do this in the daytime only, weekends would be better but if you go during the week stay off the streets betweem 12-1pm & 3-4pm when the schools let out. Don't loiter, keep moving and use common sense.

I've been lurking for a while and figured it is time to contribute. I had tried to get Theresa's contact info from the senior members but to no luck since I am not, so went to the stroll in South West a couple weeks ago and what luck, there she was. The funny thing about all this, is nothing happened. Whoever it was, waisted a lot of their time. Having been at this hobby for a while, I developed a keen sense for being followed and as we neared the Home Depot lot she requested I take her, I noticed an older sedan that had been a few car length back. I stopped in the parking lot and sure enough, far back, it packed and the guy sat there. I asked her to get out and told her I knew someone was following us. She calimed no knowledge of who it could be, but starting asking for $30 as she "had kids to feed" and I repeated,"I do not pay for sex, you need to get out now." She refused, but was being somewhat nice and was not acting aggressive or anything. She kept saying, I can blow you really quick for $30. I refused. So I started across the lot and sure enough our tail followed. I talked to her and said, look, that's probably a cop following us, I need to drop you off now. I made a few wild uturns in the middle of different streets and the tail continued a few links back. It was 100% certain he was following me at all costs now. Finally, she said, just take me back to the Ave. I attempted to ditch the car behind us on the way, whoever it was stayed back was following. I pulled over a block back from the K and he stopped a block back. She got out with no issues. As I started to drive off, I thought he would break off, but no luck. He followed me for over an hour. I got lost and stuck into traffic about two blocks length ahead of him and this is when I got nervous big time. He started driving up on the sidewalk to get closer to me. I made a U turn in the middle of the road and set my phone to 911 and was ready to call. He made another U turn as well and we this went on for a good 20 minutes. Finally I got pissed and gunned the gas, made several back alley turns and he was gone.

It was either a crazed boyfriend, Cop, or some stalker. Any thoughts?

The funny thing about all this, is nothing happened. Whoever it was, waisted a lot of their time. I wasn't even looking for sex, didn't pay for it and was genuinely just trying to give this young woman a ride. LOL. I think whoever it was got pissed as they thought they were going to catch us in the act.[/QUOTE]Just a gut feeling, but I'd bet this wasn't LE. You probably were targeted by someone looking to stage a rip-off. Stay alert!

Had a chance to visit with Theresa last nite. I don't there's anything I can say about our date that hasn't already been said here. A very nice time was had.
