The storage place I use has A/C but it also has video cameras in the halls (AC on indoor units) and along the drive path ... probably not that friendly for what you're thinking.

Not all storage facilities have 24 hour access. Most are closed after approx. 9 PM, just when the night is getting strong.

In Panama and the Dominican Republic the have just that. A cross between a garage and a storage place. They are there for rent just for a quickie. I know an attorney in the DR that owns 30 of them it's quite a money maker for him. Too bad this country is so uptight about stuff like that.
