One example is a massage license, which you used to be able to get online for like $3,000. Now, you need 500 hours of clinical massage training, you need continuing education credits, and it's like $12,000 for a course. This is yet another reason why you see a lot of 40+ year old providers and owners in the area. Because a lot of those licensed providers got theirs back when it was a lot easier to get.

Cash businesses are notoriously hard to tax, particularly when incentives such as privacy are at stake: mongers want to do everything in cash for obvious reasons. Even when you pay the house fee with your credit card (or VISA gift card), AMP owners are smart enough to use that revenue to pay operating costs, and pass as many other personal expenses through the business as possible. They are motivated like any other person or business entity to reduce their taxes as much as possible. AMPs cannot be compelled to keep significant, granular billing records for clients, either. The only way for the government to capture cash income is via audit, and guess what? The IRS doesn't spend a lot of time auditing citizens who show $20 or $30 k in cash income because proving fraud is way harder. They'd rather go RICO and try to catch drug dealers because honestly, the ROI is much better.

Let's also be honest here and note that there's shit tons of illegal sex work going on in Vegas, despite it being relatively close to an area where sex work is legal and taxed. Water flows downhill, always.

I will add that saying they live here "tax free" is a bit of a misnomer. AMP providers pay property tax (if they own a home or rent), usage taxes (sales taxes, etc.) and a myriad of other taxes like all the rest of us. Do they pay little or no income tax? I would assume that most vastly underpay income taxes if they file at all. BUT that does limit their ability to collect social security etc.

Don't forget Platinum, Tattletale is next door to the third asian spas he hit. 3 businesses were all asian owned. I would say it is a pattern. There are plenty of lingerie shops on the same street and on cheshire bridge road. The cost of getting sex in asian spas is similar to the strip clubs and lingerie shops. The girls in the strip clubs are younger, and better looking than the 40/50 years old in those spas. The tattletales girls are some of the best looking girls in Atlanta.

These are my views on this sad subject but this is how I see it:

Just like those Good Ole Boys may have been against my folks in the past (Blacks), Klegals like the Old Strom Thurman liked us enough to have a daughter by one and raise her separate and unequal. Racial hatred had nothing to do with this, simply a confused young man who didn't know how to channel his frustrations properly.

2. Why not the other businesses nearby like the strip clubs? I've got to admit I haven't been to this area, but from what others are posting here, it's the same set up you would see in places like San Diego, Honolulu, San Francisco with each type of business in some sort of ecosystem in nature like those small birds on the backs of large animals in nature that pick off the fleas. Each one needs each other to survive so naturally they would be near each other. Those animals that may eat those birds that pick the fleas off larger animals are not going to charge a rhino to get at one, but wait until one is alone and unprotected. A strip club is a fortress to get into and heavily armed. I'm assuming that one can actually buy an alcoholic beverage in those places so can you imagine what the bouncers have to put up with dealing with a bunch of liquored up men and women and they would be ready for this guy after the first shot. Most guys would be slow to go into a place if a bunch of Tong warriors were outside standing guard so they aren't going to be there. IMO, if the prosecutor could prove that, it would take away the insanity plea and clear the way for lethal injection. I'm not a lawyer, I just play one on message boards.

3. Morality of Prostitution. I don't have a problem with prostitution as long as it is not involving kids or people forced to do it. If a consenting adult wishes to sell their body and understands the full impacts on what this may bring to them then I say let them do it, just ensure that they get the proper health checks. I'm living in Asia now and I have seen the numerous sex shops available and don't have a problem. Would I like my daughter to do that work, nope. But that doesn't mean my views should dictate what others may be able to do. I've seen many a woman working on her back to support a family and have respect for them more so than some of the ones I have seen in the states on the corners working just to get enough for the next high.

4. From my experience I have been turned away from some AMPs due to my race and others have let me in. Can't help that people have their biases and to each their own. But in this case, I don't see if as an anti-Asian attack. Dude was sick in the head because of his sex addiction. But that isn't going to play well in the media because of the big money that industry brings in so what better way to push it to the side and blame racism. Trump, MAGA, etc had nothing to do with this guy. He was just whacked out.

These are the facts as we know it based on the police investigation, anything else is just speculation. I highly doubt you belong to these professions so you can zip it. Only thing that resonated with me is the fact that any one us here could have been paint sprayed in those massages. Like we could have been killed very easily. I'm considering carrying a concealed permit.

It's the IRS fault, for not looking into this because lack of resources. The solution is, and WiseAcre is correct on his assessment, the local, state city govt should collect on those license fees and provide health checks. Some cities make the local strippers hold a cabaret license in order for them to work.

If a MP gets 60-120 HJ to FS / patron. One average 3 customers / day (180 - 360) 5-7 days (I've know them to work 7 days, no vaca, damn workaholic asians 900-1800,1260-2520) so the range is 900-2520, that's 46,800 - 131,040 + tax free dollars. And that's on the low side.

The downside is, they have probably 10-20 years in the business.

Most "high-end, GPS" escorts only want to work on "low volume" basis and will charge for it.

I think as long as you were able to keep it 100% concealed you would be alright. But if they saw it they would think you were the police or had ill intent. The other problem is if you are required to leave room for table shower or saunas. I don't think it would be a good idea to leave it unattended. If you do carry, but leave it in car, for the love of god spend the 50 dollars and get a lock box for your car. The glove box or under your seat is not sufficient. It's a calculated risk. In all honesty you are more at risk in the parking lot vs actually in the spa. I am about as paranoid as can be. I think this incident was a once in a hundred year events. I would worry more about a straight up robbery at a spa then another avenger. I avoid Atl after dark. I scurry around during the day and head out of town at dusk. With that being said I realize most beefs at the clubs I go to are about past beefs, bad deals or " disrespect" none of which apply to me. I don't know these people and is too old to be a challenge to their respect. I elect not to talk about my opinions on Trump, blm and prison reform at the club. So thankfully the worse things that might happen to me is being ignored. In closing everywhere you go you are a target. If you like me find it hard to relax, but still need to engage in hobby it will be well worth it to spend the extra cash. Get a hotel room and lock door once she's in. Stay safe.

The gun is useless in the car and also just gives a scumbum the opportunity to steal your gun and use it in ways that you would not want it used. The places I go to know that I carry and they are good with it, especially now, but then they have known me for a long time and they know I won't back down from a situation. New places might be different though since this is so fresh and they will probably be frightened at the sight or the appearance of a gun. In that case the emphasis should be on the term "conceal" so that they don't see it. As a responsible gun owner I'm sure that you know what to do and what will be the right call to make.

Anyone had experience with this?[/QUOTE]I carry in general (point of clarity, Georgia has a Firearms Permit, not a concealed carry permit; if you have a GA Firearms permit, you can carry open or conceal), but if I visited a spa I would leave it in the glovebox.

If you aren't going to be in possession of your gun for some period of time, which is going to happen in a spa, it's better not to have it. I mean, you can't really take it to the table shower with you, so at least for a few minutes it's in your *unlocked* spa room. When you're fucking, you're not going to be wearing it or have it on hand. I guess you could set it on the little table with the lotions and tissues, but again, there are just times when YOU are not really in control of the gun; I mean, if she's riding you asian cowgirl, she has an easier reach for it, since you need to kind of twist around. It just doesn't work.

(I guess if it's jacket season you could pocket-carry a microcompact like a P938 or a LC9 and drape your jacket on the chair so you could reach and draw pretty quickly, but you still have the unattended firearm during the table shower.).

Part of the appeal of AMPs (or KAMPs, at least) is that in general there is SOME kind of admittance process. Usually you go up, and there might be an intercom, or at least a little waiting room before you actually enter the facility. In theory, even leaving clothes in the room to go to the table shower is an exercise in "I hope my clothes will still be here", but at least you've gone through 3-4 doors and a mamas to get into the room. Frankly, they need buzz-in security at any AMP, but if this guy had patronized these places, they'd have buzzed him in anyway. Still, a little more secure.

Young's was a Chinese parlor (rub and tug) and the other two were Korean parlors (full service). Those women are not trafficked in any way. Koreans are usually recruited from Korea but not forced into anything. Their network allows them to move around freely to different parlors in the States and they even have their own "taxi" system to move them around.

Massive difference between shots fired as in the listed example at Tokyo vs people getting killed. Shots fired in and around the blue flame seems to be extremely common, but is not deemed a big deal due to lack of a body count. There are several multiple victim shootings a week in the Atl area that barely get any press because they are in a low rent apartment complex and victim and suspects look like each other. This story grew legs because of the body count, the sexual aspect, the suspect is out of central casting, white bible thumper vs perceived poor immigrant " sex worker".
