I bought a hobby phone that looks much like my home phone, so if the SO sees it, it may pass for my home phone. If see can tell that it's not the home phone, I can tell her I found it at work, and wanted to try the speed dial to see if I can find the owner. (BTW, use the password feature so she and LE can't see anything incriminating.)

I'm forgetful, but I leave it in my briefcase (or man bag for you metrosexuals) or a special compartment in the car or anywhere you keep you hobby stash (covers, lotions, etc.). I remember to turn it off after the visit, mainly to save battery life, as well as the surprise call / text.

I hear good things about Google voice, but I like my phones low tech. Also, I thought I read that your phone records still have these calls, not a good thing if you're investigated by LE or a divorce lawyer.

Sure, they had some operational issues (bait & switch) , but damn, they had some fine providers pass through those doors. Place was top shelf in many ways. It was a shame it had to take such a dive at the end.

I didn't not attend the alphabet spas that much until a few months before their demise. Melinda was one of my ATFs that I met from there and still see her regularly. Sadly the alphabet spas were taken down but the writing was on the wall what was happening. Sadly its the nature of the game.
