Specifically, look at the amendment to (720 ILCS 5/11-15) (from Ch. 38, par. 11-15). One of the amendments bumps solicitation of a prostitute up from a Class A misdemeanor to a Class 4 felony, and makes a second offense a Class 3 felony. Not for minors under 18, but for solicitation of a prostitute period. Gotta read the whole bill, amendments and all. Best way is to click on the "full text" link at the top of that page. Thats how the Bill got passed. This is a very serious stuff if become the Law on August 24. I think we all need to say good by to this Hobby or get ready for Felony charges which also means loss of Job for professionals.

LE will pursue it hard due to the Felony Charges.

I've gotten a ton of pm's about this girl and have only given them out to seniors and those that have a decent posting count. So many people with 0 or less than 5 reports have pm'd me and unlike before I'm not going to exchange the info. We need more contribution from long time lurkers and I can't in good conscience reward lurkers who haven't contributed, it doesn't improve this site. Not to mention she's a cool chick and I don't know if these pm's could be coming from LE or worse, so I have to be careful and not just hand it out to everyone. Anyhow, I started off new and shared my info, pm'd some seniors and exchanged good intel etc, and now I can receive as well, that's the way it should be. I haven't been on here long and am awaiting my senior status but have done my share of sharing, etc and If more people would contribute instead of lurking it would save all of us a ton of time and money, which is what this site is all about.

You obviously didn't read the entire bill. There is a section specifically for minors (to protect them), but it also elevates all of the other charges from Misdemeanor to Class 4.

Looks like things might be drying up in Chicago.

Actually it was 5 women and 5 men from the senate and house of representatives. Initially the bill was set up for child protection but these 10 individuals decided to tack on the additional upgraded charges making offenses for pimps and johns the same ...a class 3 felony.
Take a look at the names of the sponsors and remember them when election time comes around.

He's the only one who can amend the bill to our favor. As much as it may hurt some of u, agree with "Gay Chicago Magazine" – A group that advocates on behalf of sex workers in Chicago urging I'll. Gov. Pat Quinn (D) to amend a bill on his desk that would enhance penalties for prostitution-related offenses.
