If they're available on short notice, their skills usually suck. Three out of four couldn't tell you first hand if the sun still rises before noon, so no 'late to work pleasures'. The talented ones seemed to move on. Apparently not everyone appreciates having their trumpet polished and will cheat the girls out of money or flat out not pay them. Sooner or later a lot get busted for drugs or trumpet polishing, which apparently is much appreciated but not legal. And what gripes me is how a 45 min cleaning session can take 3-4 hours to complete by the time you connect on the phone until you return back to home or work. And that assumes you actually connect with someone. I don't have half a day to kill every time my tuba needs blown out.
