That is the same price as acab from the airport and most casino hotels have free parking. If you choose to go anywhere during the day cabs can add up fast.

Not sure what airline you're with but Southwest gets great prices. Last time I did not book my rental right away and they sent me a good deal via email a few days later. So far I have only used McCarran Car rental. The shuttles run to and from the airport constantly. It is a short wait and very quick ride to the rental agency. The car rental agency has almost all the major rental outfits. Keep a close eye on the estimated taxes because they seem to try to hide that and not include it in the initial price. The taxes and fees are insane. I'd guess it adds another 30 to 40% onto the rental fee. Always rent the cheapest category you see. The agencies will almost always give you some kind of upgrade. Always ask the guys in the lot and not the schmucks behind the counter. Those guys will always charge you. I think they must work on commission or something. Just ask the guy in the lot if he can take a tip for finding you the best car.

The other reason to get a car is to leave the strip to buy alcohol, groceries, and dine off of the strip. You'll save a lot of cash that way. On top of that there is a lot to see and do off strip such as Red Rock, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas Speedway, Carroll Shelby museum, etc. If you drive to incall hookers or AAMPS you'll save $50 to $100 per session. The strip is great fun but expensive if you have to buy everything there. Some others als suggest Priceline and sone other agencies to get a cheaper car. I haven't tried that because the airport shuttle makes it too easy.

Alcohol is really the only reason NOT to rent a car. I drink significantly in Vegas and really don't want car keys anywhere near me. If for some reason that wasn't an issue I would absolutely rent a car.

Breakfast at McDonald's is $8 for two sandwiches, but a breakfast buffet at The Orleans is $6. 99. A 1-bedroom apt in LA is $900 a month. For that price, I can rent a house in LV. Gas is usually 40 cents a gallon cheaper in LV, too.

So, if pussy costs a little more, I understand. I do have to say, the quality of girls is a little better in Vegas. The only problem is that the quality of service is universal with hookers. Half of them aren't worth $2 for the shitty service and attitude no matter how good they look.

Tourists come to LV and throw around their vacation money at the casinos, so why not throw it around on other stuff. If you're willing to spend 96% of retail at an outlet mall and fool yourself into thinking you got a great deal on a Tag Hauer watch, then why not throw some extra cash at a Las Vegas hooker and add it to the whole vacation experience.

Have you checked the prices for nightclubs, food, drinks, buffets (at the higher end casinos). People are paying the prices commanded. I think when people visit here from wherever, they feel more freely about their money, its about the experience.

How many people who come here, have strip joints at home? I am sure everybody has some level of P4 P, just read the International or USA guides. I watch how people tip at restaurants, would they tip that much at home?

When I would travel and I am taking the last plane to vegas, you could tell is was going to party city, there was a different atmosphere on the plane.
