I am asking paid SA members to write SA and ask for an extension to membership end date.

I became a paid member shortly before the virus shutdowns. Haven't been able to use it much due to shutdowns. I wrote to SA about an extension but haven't heard anything.

This is because many businesses such as bars / nightclubs / restaurants have VERY short-term cash flow, and can barely survive slight slowdowns -- even a three week outage can put them under for good, and they won't have the ability to just pop back up and resume where they were once that happens.

I am in a high risk category b / c of my age, and have other risks if I bring it home. Unless I happen to get it IRL, then get over it, and therefore have immunity, I don't think I can be in the bowl until this thing is gone. The original SARS has been around in the population at a low level since it hit, but not in the US. I have a relevant technical background, I am not optimistic that this coronavirus is going to be resolved in any real way in the next couple months.

From a sheer economic health standpoint, there's nothing about the loss of a few thousand Americans in a couple of hi-rises that should initiate multi-year damage to the US economy, but it did. I think people think the dust will clear when the virus cases start to decline -- the fear of catching COVID-19 will, but the shockwaves will keep going for some time. Some of these restaurants pay hundreds of dollars per day just for their lease, and were barely scraping by even at the top of the economy.

The ratchet girls are getting cheaper and easier to find. The low-tier talent is the end of the spectrum that is growing and likely to get cheaper.
