Is the coronavirus nature's way of correcting GPS? I'll go ahead and predict that over the next 1-2 years, SBs will be agreeable to an average of 25-40% allowance reduction. Several factors at work here (aside from the obvious immediate loss of income). I'll name the first two that come to mind:

1 - Servers, bartenders, fitness industry workers, etc. Perceptions of their own professions will change. What they perceived as a relatively recession proof job has been undermined at a psychological level.

2 - Economic impact to "less-than-authentic" SDs will cull the sugardaddy pool and result in increase of demand for SDs (by inauthentic SDs I'm referring to younger guys who have nice jobs but don't actually have high net worth, who use SD websites as an extra form of easy dating. And no offense to them because I might have done the same thing with my paycheck if it were this easy when I was a young guy). Many of them will lose their jobs and spending priorities will focus them away from SBs.

Agree? Disagree? Any additional factors to add?

[/QUOTE]I think when we get past this and the economy and our lives get back to normal SBs / SDs (all types!) will be back to their old ways until then it will be a tough balancing act for the SBs including the GPS types. On the one hand they need to make $ and on the other they have to distance themselves from us! For their protection.

So for all this to work to our benefit will depend on how many SBs ignore the personal risk which is has been way overblown by the media.

Waiting for the guy to lower the overpriced subscription to his site. Are there lower cost ways of finding SBs? Has anyone had success using OKC, Bumble etc.

Even if things were to get back to normal tomorrow, most wouldn't be thinking "I should many a safety net with the money I'm making. " TBF, I think that's most Americans in general. We, as a society, are pretty terrible with money.

If there are younger professionals who now aren't able to afford the SD / SB hobby, the higher net worth individuals would end up paying more.

I guess the quantity of SD's could conceivably drive down prices, but who knows.

The one dynamic that I always found interesting with SB's is the "I need x amount, therefore I'm going to charge you that" mentality. It's completely unrealistic and you'll see these girls starve before taking a lesser amount. For instant, a girl will say "I need $300 for my phone bill. " Instead of doing two visits for 150, she'll stick to "I need 300. " I don't know if it's laziness or stupidity, or just a bit of both.
