Was able to go for a walk -- she was more concerned about being spotted by someone she knew at a coffee shop, but just liked being somewhere in public.

The SB could be clean as heck, but the last SD could have laid down tons of virus on her clothes and that's all it takes. It can live for days on many surfaces. People take baths daily, but how often do they wash clothes and wipe down other surfaces? Therein lies the issue.
As for an SB who hosts, assume every surface any other SD has touched before you is a potential infection source.

It's like they somehow feel that their degree or their connections to the medical field will somehow protect them, or that they're more uniquely able to deal with anything that comes along. They're wrong, of course. Some things, like herpes, are still forever no matter what profession you're in or what degree you have. Still, interesting mindset of these people.
