Honestly, I never thought that I'd get into the hobby. Then one night I got hooked after a visit to Hou's in South Gate. If one is truly addicted, self control won't do a darn thing. I try to find things to keep my mind busy. That usually works. I tell you though that sometimes it's extremely difficult to avoid SWs and MPs! Exactly the same with me. No one has ever known that I have mongered through the years and it's great to live vicariously through the posts on this website. Just further proof that these forums don't make any difference.

It is interesting that the undercover police detective didn't uncover any violations. Naturally, the code enforcement officer found some plumbing violations, which they were able to remedy within a short while.

All I can say, is that the owners of the neighboring business that complained are a bunch of dumb shits. Claiming this is bad for their bottom line, what a bunch of shit. I've gone probably about 5-6 times in the past few months and it has been pretty mixed. The attitude of the girls is awesome, but I'm sure there's hotter girls elsewhere. 108 was definitely better.

Exactly! So what if 'only' discreet well-dressed men are walking into the business next to you. It should not and would not hinder SP's business in any way shape or form. This is simply a stunt for them to try and get their lease reduced. What they are doing is akin to going out to eat, getting good food and great service, then plucking a hair out of your eyebrow and placing it on that last bite of steak so you can get your bill comped. Classless!!! Good for the landlords standing their ground.

Since the owners just purchased it some 27 days ago, I seriously doubt they are in the market to sell it again.

Honestly, like said before, it is just a simple minded ploy to get the rent reduced. Not only that, they probably feel getting this into the newspaper will help them file suit against the previous owners for not disclosing information that they feel impacts their business.

Of course, the previous owners, have an easy out. They either didn't pay any attention to the people coming/going from the next suite, or they never though of any of it. Especially if they never attempted to find out what is next door. Besides that, the reports in this forum are hearsay at best, so the only way to know what goes on next door is to have actually gone next door and paid for services.

I'm wondering if the husband half of the SP owners did go next door and sample the services and now the wife is making a stink about it because she found out :)

I got a call from MMS that she had new staff on Mondays. Found out my ATF is no longer there. She has moved on. Very nice of her to call and let me know. This place is still one of the most discreet and well run places I have ever been. Thanks again Malibu for the heads up.

I am glad I have my A.T.F. digits. I will text her and see what is up. She does live in L.A. so I may be making a run that way soon.

Yep, especially about the point about the new owners of SP. I'm surprised that two young attorneys would leave law to do a business like this. I'd suspect that each of them could easily pull down 100 grand a year, if not quite a bit more.

Running SP, what could they really make, 100 grand between the two of them? Doesn't sound exactly like the best move to me.

Hmm, two attorneys bought a business, first start threatening the landlord, soon they'll discover that there are many SP's across the country. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't start threatening each and every one of those business's since they are using their name.
