So I pretty much exclusively hit the sugar bowl when I travel. Never taken a trip without at least one successful date each night. Takes more work to weed out those who feel that is too transactional, but with the right game you can make those on the fence comfortable. Heavy investing in texting for a week or two pre-arrival. Usually book 3 dates, knowing 2 will bail -- or worst case scenario, schedule one for 6 pm, another for 8 and the most mercanary for 9 pm drink and then I'm covered.

Helps to tell them I'm in town each month, even if its a one time trip!

Ghosting happens all the time. They usually do it when someone else comes along offering more.

These girls are like eBay auctions, they are looking for the highest price, talking to many, and they have a 'buy now' button which can close the deal for a price in their head that ends the auction. If and when it comes along.

I've found the shorter ones are typically pros or non pros who want to get something fast so time is of the essence and they are doing the time / price tradeoff. Not that it is bad always. It can work to your advantage depending on what you're looking for. E. g. , you don't have to pretend you're interested in their life-long goals and will be there to help them consistently when all you want is to get laid.
