The location was a complex that looked heavily Asian and Latino. As I was waiting for the previous monger to finish up, I sat in my car until she (or her handler) called me back to say it was ok and to give me the apt number. As I sat there, there were a few older Asian couples who walked back / forth and gave me the strangest looks as well as a mother with her child playing nearby, who kept watching me. That or I was really neurotically paranoid that day. I finally called them back and called it off and found another provider close by and had an ok time. I hadn't done my homework to properly vest a backup but it fit the need at that time.

I've also had the case where I got bad directions and wandered around a complex. I think the problem was that since my car was a newer model, it tended to stand out amongst the cars around it which were much older Honda Civics and such.
