That depends. Many SBs who are not in semi-pro mode yet will like to talk first. Many of them are not even comfortable / pretending to be comfortable talking about details of FC over text. So it's not a bad ask, so long as you are not paying for M&G. A coffee or a lunch usually does the trick, and many times FC right after that. It's understandable if they are concerned about meeting a freak. It goes both ways, you also want to make sure you are not meeting someone in 40's even if they told you they were in their 20's.

When asked I tell the girl that to me, the M&G is like an interview and that if they were to be offered an interview for a job and they asked for a paycheck 1st they wouldn't get the interview. The good is that there are tons of SBs now so its easy to just move on when you come across a girl who wants $ for the M&G or just wants to send pics. The bad is that there are guys out there who do those things so some girls think it is the norm.
