I headed over to Ecstasy Theatre yesterday. It's been several months and was time to see what's new.

Now on to my SOB story.

Last Friday I was originally planning to hit Ecstasy, but their doorman said that there were only 11 dancers on the floor. So I called the next nearest club, Cali Girls SA, where they said that they had at least 15+ performers and rising (and cover was only $20 with no drinks required), so I pivoted and went there instead.

Big mistake.

Quick takeaway: Avoid Cali Girls SA if you can ever help it. Horrible management, mediocre girls, almost all of them are liars.

Strike #1: there were probably no more than 11-12 dancers there the entire night, so the manager on the phone was already being dishonest.

Strike #2: Girls were quoting me wildly different prices for VIP's and even the regular couch dances ($40 for topless and $80 for nude single song? Are you kidding me? How many suckers actually frequent this club? And when I asked a floor manager what the standard dance prices were, he shrugged and said that each girl sets their own prices. I have NEVER heard of a club that didn't set standard prices (so they could secure their cuts off every dance). VIP prices were so ridiculous and none of the performers rated higher than a 7 in looks.

Strike #3: the most annoying DJ ever who was constantly berating the patrons to tip the stage dancers; even the ones who did tip were still being hounded by him to tip even more! Given that many girls barely even strpped all the way down and most were either 5's or 6's, this was a mood-killer the whole night. Not to mention the dumbest stage set-up I've ever seen, where the tip rail was still set 3 feet away from the stage, and the fact that the DJ would often dim the lights so much that you barely see the dancer's faces, much less any other parts of the body worth looking at.

Strike #4: Dancers were even cussing me out if I politely declined their requests for a dance. I say no if their asking price is too ridiculous, if they're not that attractive, if they barely talked to me, or all of the above. And they have the nerve to think guys are obligated to pay to dance with them? WTH?

Saddest part was that it was too late for me to try another place, so I just sat through this misery for 3 hours straight, hoping that something would turn around, but it never did.

Total frustration and agony. This must be a club for the dumbest repeat customers in southern California!

Thanks for sharing your train wreck experience. I'd only been there day shifts, and not for a couple months (traveling for work again). Day shift had a robo-DJ and the dance prices were posted on a board on the wall to the left of the bar (from customer perspective), so those weren't issues before. But management has always been iffy: the doorman used to badger you for tips as you entered, sometimes with threats he'd tell the girls you're cheap. Girls said they still demanded tip-outs too. Greedy bastards, probably the same cause that led to your bad time. It's a Rhino club, so maybe complain to corporate on their website?

Anyone else experiencing this BS, on current day shifts? I've seen some decent girls dancing there in the past, and although their standard dance prices aren't real cheap you can sometimes score decent mileage plus I've pulled OTC from there a few times. But again, no visits in 2-3 months.

Yes, I strongly prefer day shifts. Night times often have younger dancers & higher overall quality, but that comes with more GPS / higher prices, more young & dumb, more idiot customers, etc. Day shifts you have to be ready to roll on to another club if insufficient quality. It's usually cheaper for mileage but more "transaction costs" if you know what I mean (time & disappointments). But there's plenty of gems to find, especially if like me you like the dancers who have been doing it for a while & understand the game. And there's usually less staff & customers around, to get in the way of my fun.

For OC clubs I'll keep recommending Ecstasy & TJ's day shifts, with Kim clubs Sahara & Imperial as occasional alternatives (better than the COI Kim clubs, but still clip-joint-like & girls less to my taste). Taboo has been a waste of time for me, even the eye candy LM topless clubs are better IMO haha. I hear the forum favorite Luna is back at TJ's tho I haven't had the pleasure yet, also Kourtney there is a good choice.

The later in day shift, the more girls there'll be (usually).

Asking the doorman or calling won't help, they won't say. If you can't afford to waste the entry fee, you shouldn't go to strip clubs.

I usually go around 2 pm, so I'm out before rush hour. If Ecstasy has 6 girls, that's good. TJ's or Imperial, 8-10. Sahara, 10-12. Can be more, or less. End of the month usually best. Of course, it depends on the girls. If I find one I like, I get digits for texting to see if they are in. Then numbers are just useful for future shopping or rare MSOG days.

The more experienced you get, the more you know it's always a crap shoot & you just got to go for it. Even your current favorites may be on the rag (attitude wise) some days & it will be shitty. If it looks bad, just try again another day & don't sweat it. You shouldn't be so desperate. Just do it, & then report here how it went.
