Yea, it might seem like Iowa is a wasteland compared to FLA, but I was surprised by what I found over the years. Used to work for a small company out of Western Iowa and spent a lot of time in Eastern SD, Iowa and Eastern Nebraska. While the hobby is thin there, it's not a complete desert. There are a lot of itchy civies just looking for some attention that is, let's say, a bit more wilder and crazier than the typical conservative thinking BF, husband and players that live there. Was very surprised as some of my freakiest civie sessions were gals from Iowa.

Now, it's not like driving to the triangle to make a PU and you will have to put in some online work, but they are there. I don't travel as much as I used to, but travel all over the US and lots of international destinations. What you are describing in Dallas also exists in Phoenix, LA, Seattle, Houston, Oakland.
