My personal experience is just the opposite. Men at these meetings are away from home and looking to play, a lot of time on someone elses dime (e. G. Entertaining clients). I would expect the upper end market to pick up as a consequence. I expect the SW scene will be unaffected.

In addition, I believe that once major conventions and shows are being held in Nashville traveling talent will come as well. My suspicion is that some of the mediocre girls currently in Nashville that are charging $250 and $300 per hour will realize downward pressure on their rate and settle into a price more in line with other major cites I have lived in and visited most likely $180 to $225. Most of the gals in Nashville currently charging $200 would not be able to command this high of a price in this scenario.

Charlotte and Tampa are great examples of what I expect Nashville to become in regards to the hobby.

Thanks for the input guys. Sure, I could go to a nice place and pay the extra, but sometimes you're in a hurry and just want something cheap and easy. Knowwhatimean? The idea of hanging around bars is interesting, but less of a choice for guys who have someone waiting. Before I moved I could go out any night of the week and pick up a girl, most of the time the same dozen girls were around but there was always one or two newbies passing through town. Saw a potential on church st doing some recon, she was pacing and near the bus stop but watching traffic and not sitting at the bench. Still not sure where the hot spots are though. Play safe, Greg.[/QUOTE]Well as far as rates go Nashville is one of the highest priced cities to play in but if mongers are willing to continue to pay that rate then any woman worth seeing is going to be smart enfough to ask for those rates. If she provides quality service at or just above the market level then she can get the market rate, when mongers either will not or can not pay that rate then the market will correct itself.

I am not sure if the new MCC will help or hurt the SW sean overall but I am pretty sure they will push it to the back streets out of sight to visitors. Same thing happened when they built the football stadium. Its just a big game of wack a mole for the cops and SWs and cops and robbers or mongers for us.

Personally I have found that conventions have little if any effect on prices at least in SD. Years ago the Superbowl was in SD and the number of SW's actually dropped off. When the Republican convention was here was all this talk about hookers coming to SD. Again no change in SW's activity and or prostitution. This partially because the tracks are not near the tourist areas. In the past I have found that there are some new SW's that will stay a day or 2 and see if they can charge high prices. I think a lot of the BP girls do this.
