This all depends on your jurisdiction. In California, the police are too busy w / real crime to spend much effort on people w / o license plates. And, new vehicles don't have them, etc. You may recall Steve Jobs avoided ever getting a plate for his Mercedes SLs by simply trading every 6 months, so it is not that unusual in CA for a vehicle to have no plate. If you get a new car, there is a little pocket to put on your windshield for paperwork. The next time I get a new one I will save that.

Also, I try to do stuff like this. Pick a meet location in a big shopping center w / a large parking lot. I can stop and pull off my plate around the corner, then drive up to the Starbucks w / no fear. I am also on private property, it further decreases the likelihood police would get interested.

I am not in any DNA databases, so there's no risk there at this stage. However, some family members have gotten the 23 and Me thing done, I understand that can be used to track down family members who are serial killers. However, I haven't and won't do anything that severe to justify that much trouble.

If you have a license tag, you can get the name of the owner via paid online sites. The one I used, I seem to recall it was docusearch, charged $40. I am also confident you can get that info if you hire a PI (or if you are a sugar baby and FC w / a PI for the benefits). So, that's why I do what I do. It's just too darn easy for someone to get to you. And you can go to a site for car trade-ins and enter a VIN, which will provide the license plate #. A crafty SB with mal intent could really f* you up w / this kind of intel.

The notion of financial support, as long as phrased properly, is fully defensible. Parents financially support their kids, kids financially support elderly relatives all the time, etc. But yes, depending on someone's conversational skill level, or just those who are relatively new (10 years or less) to this game, I'd recommend sticking to words like "spoiling" when it comes to e-mails or texts.
