Yes, some providers do know it's an app you're calling from, most don't care. For the ones that do, I explain to them my discretion is as important as theirs. Most will understand.
I go a step further and just delete the app when I'm not using it. When you re-download it all your texts and past calls reload as well as any saved contacts you have in there. I do that in case I get a call back or a spam call (which has happened) that way I'm not caught off guard because it will ring through your phone if someone calls you and it could blow your cover if you're hiding it from a significant other.
We need to look at details on ad pics, as they say, an image is worth a thousand words. I don't think I will visiting this lady based on her last pic.
