The only thing I'm going to stop is the noob bashing. Some of them are dickweeds, agreed, but some of them would probably develop into good members if given the chance. What I'm trying to put into the culture here is a simple idea.

If the post violates our guidelines, report it, put the member on your ignore list, then move on. If it doesn't violate our guidelines but you don't like the guy, skip step one. Nothing more than that.

I'm raising this issue of discretion that is occasionally mentioned because I think it's a good idea that we keep it in mind these days. While this is a place for the exchange of info, we have to use some discretion in giving details to unvetted people. Mongers and providers alike. I'm not entirely sure what the solution is, but I know that things are getting more dangerous for us. I personally know a wonderful provider who is doing 45 days after a guy she did business with more than once turned out to be a pig. Not only that, but it seems that 5 large is missing from her apartment and was not mentioned in the court docket as a seizure. That means, if everything I have been told is true, that the cops targeted this girl and hit her, and then stole her hard earned cash. I know for a fact that she got popped and is doing a short stint, I can't vouch for the cash and the circumstances, as I wasn't there, but I can't see any advantage in lying about it.

Lets give the matter some thought.

And news flash, pigs see providers on their own time too. He could have turned her in because of some spat. Let's not crawl under a rock because a girl got busted. It happens. Right now there are several advertisers that have been busted before. Some of them put up ads immediately after getting released. Its a shot in the dark for one of these chicks to get picked out for a sting. Plus LE takes forever to organize this type of shit. If they were any good at it none of us could hobby.

P.S. I will never see a provider in Beachwood. So many times I've been stood up there. I believe it is because of the stings you speak of. I think because I never gave them a slam dunk case over the phone they just went on to the next guy. Plus, there is an inordinate amount of turnover when it comes to the ads posted for that area.

Tried to make an appt to see Cougar today, but was told that since I hadn't been there before I would need to be vouched by an active provider. While I understand and appreciate Mike's caution, my dilemma is akin to the chicken or the egg. Since I monger outside of the Cleveland Area, how do I get vouched for?

Not that big of a deal, there are plenty of other options. I'm just curious if other guys had this problem, and what they did to surmount it? Thanks for the advice.
