Yeah, I drive a real nice car. It actually used to help on Sunset. Cause girls are all charging $ fs out there so if you have a nice car they think you will have no problem with the $.

OTOH, a good car on Fig is death. First the girl has to determine you are not a pimp. So you have to cruise around with your windows rolled all the way down. Then, you are not getting fs for .6......you will get quoted $. Finally, you cannot park anywhere. You have to get a room. In Hollywood, the streets are PACKED with cars. So you can park lots of places and not stick out, even in a very nice car. But in the area around Fig, a very nice car sticks out like a sore thumb and everyone assumes your a drug dealer or gang member. Not exactly the profile you would want when you are porking a street ho.

IMO, the best car you can have in this situation is a mid to late 90's stock import compact...say a 96 Corolla or Civic or something similiar. Actually, thats probably the best mongering vehicle there is considering:

-Easy of blending in. Lots of those cars out there and as long as its clean, not modified, and no citable items, LE is not gonna notice you at all.

-Clean car indicating you have some money, but not too much. This lets the girl know you have money to spend, but she probably wont be able to upsell you. At the same time, when you tell the girl you only have .6 or .8, she is likely to believe you.

-Confiscation. KBB on these is about $2-3K. Not much of a loss if you get arrested and your car is confiscated.

Or should I say professor Speck. When's the next class, I never thought of having another mongering ride. Like you guys I drive a nice car and prices do change when they see you.

Got use to the full size SUV, I don't think I could have sex in a compact car anymore, hard enough on the knees and back as is.

If your SUV or CAR are pimped out you definitely need to make eye contact and talk to the girls because they will run away if your Black and have a pimped out ride good luck catching a date, I guess you can't win if your black they won't date you if your white they think your a cop, if your... the list goes on....

Let's hope the funding drys up a little or moves to gangs or drugs so the LAPD can do something else with there time instead of harass the S/W's.

This is the big draw back of the compact car with me. I am really picky and drive around a lot sometimes. Sometimes fugly chicks try to get real aggresive and jump in, and I'm like "oh hell no". So they get pissed and tell all the other sw's that I'm a cop.

I have driven from one end of the Hottie Gallery to the other and back and seen 15 on one end by the time I make that 6 block loop they have all disappeared, I almost picked up a real cute BSW who parked her little VW, blue contact lens nice short skirt just got to the track, she was putting lotion on her legs and bent over in a short jean skirt, damn I wanted to hit it, but had to pass.

As promised I said I would post if Jasmine called me back after our 1st date. She did. Unfortunatly I was in NY on biz. We talked for a minute and I told her give me holler when I returned. We ended up going to a no-tell.
THis was more of gfe experiance than I am used to. I don't know if it was due to all the conversation or what. We started with lots of hugging, holding and dfk'ing. There was a sting going on yesterday about a half block south of Gage. It was so easy to spot, yet they had a few guys set aside for custody. Two decoys were so obviuos but still guys were pulling over for them. Get with it as these stings are so easy to spot.

i had to go downtown to meet a friend last night ... on the way back decided to make a fig lap. sometimes its fun just to look.

was surprised to see that at around 11pm there were a decent # of SWs out (and it was freezing cold!) .. a definite buyers market! a couple of them looked good too, but there was a lot of LE around. saw several black-and-whites as well as unmarked cop cars on patrol, obviously looking for mongers. one unmarked car followed me for six or seven blocks ... he was trying to be slick .. keeping his distance, but it was obvious he was trailing me. whatever, i wasn't going to do anything. after six or seven blocks he pulled a u-turn. this was all between manchester and gage-ish.

was fun to look but i would not pick one of those SWs up as i have too much to lose and it's just not worth the risk (which seems extremely high given all the LE which i saw, let alone what i did not see).

Anyway, has anybody noticed the dark red Crown Victoria!!?? He was right next to me going South in the Hottie Gallery. I stopped at the Burger King on Florence and Fig for some food, I was probably there 15 minutes, I kept on going South and there's the dark Red Crown Victoria parked on a side strre at 104th (or 105th). Gee, I wonder what THAT was! :)

I have been cruisin up and down Figueroa, because of boredom, the sights, and to work up some nerves at times. Both in the day and in the night. All I have seen are BSW's, and they are seem to be in flocks at times, and scarce during other times. In the day today while cruising north on Fig, I seen two cery scantily clad BSW's towards the end of Fig, a little before USC and that area. One was in a white skirt and the other was wearing a skirt, but I can't remember what color or much more, because they were on the opposite side from the direction I was in. I have seen A couple of WSW and or LSW a few times, but not as much as the BSW's. I know that street a little now, and there is a lot of LE's cruising in both directions at all times of the day, so be careful as I have seen them harrassing and maybe arresting, unfortunate people on the sides. Back to what I was saying though, is that since I have taken the trips (I suppose?), up and down this street, numerous times, I was wondering if someone could tell me "Is there a certain strip of this street called the hottie gallery, or is the whole FIG the hottie gallery, or is it another spot because I have seen some prospective action on streets that are perpendicular to FIG?" If you do not want to say on the board, feel free to PM me if anyone could answer this question that I have. Also been doing the same on LB Blvd, and either gonna try a SW out, get busted for cruising the streets too much, or get shot by one of the "lookouts-who look shady and are out there everyday or time I cruise" who see me cruising all the time and by the looks of some of them-may flip out at anytime... Always use Fig instead of the 110 because of traffic and a better view unless I am in a hurry, and the 110 is usually parked.

A lot of the crown vics you see are bandit cabs, in my opinion More dangerous then the cops the cops can only arrest you the bandit cabs are usually uninsured and have no interest in anyone's safety.

LAPD still has crown vic's, as well as Malibu's and literally dozens of other cars Camry's, neon's, you name it they got it. Better safe then sorry, but always worry about anyone who seems interested in what you are doing, after all anyone can drop a dime on you if they follow you.

For whatever reason, there were hardly any girls at all out. Maybe 8 total BSWs from Century Blvd to MLK. However, I counted around 15 LEs and undercovers and also 3 stopped and busted cars (possible mongers?). There was this nice looking BSW two streets south of Florence looking so obvious but she was turning down all rides. Face=7? body=7? spinner wearing a reddish brown sweater, scarf and had long wavy hair (wig?). Also, there was a sweet young thang two streets north of Gage hiding in that one cubby corner. She was wearing tight short shorts and tight top. Looked young, possibly early 20s but looked kind of scared. She wouldn't even look at me. At least the first one I mentioned looked at me and waved me off. Stay safe out there.

i have two cars. one is really nice, like yours. another is a beater. you can bet you will get charged the MAAXXX they think they can get away with if you have a nice ride. better to do this with a shit car. they are a lot more likely to negotiate if they think you're broke. save the sweet ride for the civilian girls. in the hood you are just a blaring target/sucker for all kinds of shit you don't want (LE, gangsters, pimps, ROBs, etc).

I myself am against any tax for more cops, why because they waste way to much money.

I am also in support for Target training for gang members, that way they can actually hit what they intent to shoot.

Some will try and get more if you drive a nice car, but they won't refuse the standard, 40-50 for b/j 60-80 for f/s the even hundred girls are normally to be ignored even though most girls are now spitting out "got a Hundred" before your car even comes to a complete stop, I just laugh I entertain a few thoughts on the highest quality girls, but in the end they all do it for 60-80. Took a cruise last night on the pfig around 9:00 p.m., too early for any real action, but surely something would be afoot.

And indeed, there was.
