Hey guys how about giving Don a break. He's pretty active in the Atlanta board and if you're ever out that way, I know he can and will point you in the right direction. I'm not a local but get to vegas at least 3 times a year. I love it there, unfortunately so does my wife so coming without her is pretty dang hard. Anyway I love following ya'lls advice and suggestions and am looking forward to trying some of it out as soon as I can get there without the SO. Well, If you ever get to Alabama, hollar at me, I post under the Huntsville, AL site, for some good recomendations or at the Don if you ever get to Atlanta I'm sure he'd be happy to do the same. One things for sure, it's generally cheaper out our way.

Sorry you feel that way Zombie...but I am not reporting what i experienced in effort to appease the members of the board.
I am reporting what I did and the fact that I enjoyed it, if that makes some of you mad...then get over it.
Maybe as you explain your experiences to other in light of my expereinces, others will learn how to be more dollar thifty...maybe i can learn from the info spawned by other members in respnse to mine.
I certainly would not spend Las Vegas prices for pootang when I ahve a much more pocket friendly market in Atlanta...but for a vacation...sometimes the extra dollars arefun to spend.
Since I am a guest on the LV board, I did not report my findings to sound cool or to brag...just to share my experiences and see that we all can learn from them.
maybe in the future certain members will choose to welcome outsiders and not treat them as if they are wasting your time.

I'm sorry that I ragged on you a little but and experienced individual that apparently did not rtff was too good to pass up.

I'm glad you had fun with the lapdancers at Sapphire but we're just telling you that you could have paid for lapdancers at a strip club and then picked up some company in a casino and gotten relief both for less money that your night at Sapphire cost you.

If you rtff, the locations of available company in various casino is posted in some of the reports along with the going rate and remember when in LV do like the Las Vegans.

First: no beef with “The Don” intended here, and all due respect to you and your friends and anyone in your family. You had a good time, I take that at face value, glad Vegas could be of service. I don’t want to discourage anyone from posting their experience and observations, and individual tastes and budgets certainly will differ. You don't need to please anyone or be part of anyone's club to post here. There are sections of this forum (well, at least one) where you practically need to subscibe to every dot and tittle of their fevered nutcase political ideology to participate, and I hate that. But it definitely has been necessary to clarify the local situation for any newcomers to town reading about a couple of these places and the manner of finding them. I hesitate to clutter up the board by keeping this matter going beyond it's useful lifespan, but I got curious about the name and did a little research on the joint(s) known as “Goldrush” favored by "The Don" from ATL. They are part of the empire of none other than the Galardi family, which will be a name immediately familiar to most locals here.

That would be the same family currently undergoing a Federally sponsored rectal examination of all it's clubs, and other, er, family business affairs, members of which are awaiting sentencing to Federal prison on multiple convictions for bribery and other good stuff, also alleged by the FBI to be associates of the Gambino crime family and awaiting trial on additional bribery, conspiracy, assault, and racketeering charges.

A lot of information connecting the dots on this chain of “family enterprises” is available in public documents, including unsealed indictments, wiretap transcripts, and trial testimony, but one of the more easily readable and briefly descriptive sources is press summary of the matter, so here are some excerpts from the San Diego Union-Tribune of August 28, 2003:

“The 72-year-old Galardi has since traded the glitzy Las Vegas social scene for Atlanta, where he spends most of his time and owns a home and the Crazy Horse, Goldrush, Masters and Pink Pony strip clubs. He is also chief executive officer of Miss Nude Atlanta Inc.”

“Even before the raids at their clubs, both Galardis had caught the attention of law enforcement. The younger Galardi was pursuing a plan to open another strip club in Las Vegas in 2000, to be called the Gold Club.”

“During the permitting process, Las Vegas police suspected it was more than a coincidence that a similar club in Atlanta by the same name – one of the most successful and high-profile strip clubs on the East Coast – was at the center of a sensational federal investigation alleging prostitution and ties to the Gambino crime family.”

“Steve Kaplan, owner of the Atlanta Gold Club, was accused of using dancers to provide sexual favors to star athletes Patrick Ewing of the NBA and others, cheating credit-card customers and funneling profits to the Gambino crime family in New York. In January 2002, Kaplan pleaded guilty to a single racketeering count and was sentenced to 16 months in prison.”

“Las Vegas police requested about $10,000 from the Clark County Commission to send investigators to Atlanta to investigate Michael Galardi and his father, who was rumored to be the subject of a federal grand jury probe in Atlanta.“

“At the time, the Galardis' attorney denied there was any connection between the clubs, and the Las Vegas cops were denied their travel request by some of the same politicians now targeted in the corruption probe.”

I remember the Gold Club case pretty well. It seems, among other things, that some customers took offense when they got their credit card statements and discovered that they’d been billed twenty-thousand dollars for a lap dance and drink. It’s been several years since the family was forced to close the Gold Club, due in part to credit card scams they ran on their customers, but that kind of sticks in your mind, you know.

As long as the FBI’s proctology exam of these “family connected” clubs continues, and they no doubt have more wires and surveillance devices planted in them than the counting room at Caesar’s Palace, I’d estimate the likelihood of getting any action inside at this time to be, oh, how about roughly ZERO percent, or something less than that. Maybe you could have got something in one of these joints several years ago, before they were caught buying local governments and stomping the bleeding bejesus out of customers, but now? Only if you fancy the kind of “action” that can be had while everyone knows that an alphabet soup of uniformed government officials (FBI, IRS, DEA, ATF, US-DOJ, etc.) is a constant audience taking carefully detailed notes on how often you pick your nose inside.

If someone manages to find a good time of some sort inside one of these “family” establishments at a price he’s willing to accept, well then more power to you, good luck, and hats off for scamming the scammers right under the noses of enough eavesdropping law enforcement officials to invade a small country. However, for my part, I won’t be running a bar tab there, or handing them my credit card any time soon.

I’m not a connoisseur of nudie bars, but I believe Speck’s brief description of a few of the alternatives among high end joints that cater to tourists who stay in the Strip resorts is probably well informed.

P.S. Oh yes, I found this reference to charitable endeavors heartwarming, and the phrase “consolidating (their) business” amusing. Always a good idea to get “consolidated” and charitable before your sentencing hearing for a stretch in the slammer. But later, after the Federal indictments and all the political and legal heat, they apparently did get approval to go have some fun in Florida:

Of course this later request for official lap dance money became an offer the Clark County Comissioners couldn't refuse, since the majority of the Board had just been caught on tape taking payoffs from Galardi's bagman, who by the way, was a former Metro cop.

Officer faces sex charges

Police say woman sought to avoid arrest

Las Vegas police arrested one of their own Tuesday, saying a downtown patrol officer let a woman avoid jail in exchange for oral sex.

According to an arrest report, Ortega was patrolling the area of Charleston Boulevard and Mojave Road about 2 a.m. on Sept. 27 when he noticed the woman walking nearby.

Ortega agreed and drove to a secluded commercial area, where the woman gave him oral sex, the report said.

After she was freed, the woman called a friend for a ride home.

The woman "said she did not call the police because she did not view this incident as anything but a 'cost of doing business,' " the report said.

Police learned the woman's story that afternoon when they responded to her home for a 911 hang-up call.

In an interview with investigators, Ortega did not deny receiving oral sex. [Dumb officer]

These are all rip offs. The money they quoted are just for them to show up at your place and nearly all the time the girl is not the same in the pic. You will end up more than double what a CG asks. It is a scam similar to the lingerie joints in cities like Atlanta. Does anybody have a different experience? You may have a better luck going to Bunny' s or Cherry ranch. They do provide transportation from LV. You can visit their websites. If you need a bachelor party, go to a SC and asks the girls. They can tell you. Try spearmint rhino.

Day 1

Arrived last Monday. Rented a car at the airport and headed to the Strat by way of Swenson. Just past Twain there was a WSW that actually looked pretty good. Bleached blond, nice body, wearing a skirt. This was around 6:30 PM. I passed and continued to the hotel.

After showering and a little gambling, I decided to warm up at some strip clubs. Cruised Naked City on my way to Cheetahs. (On this 3 day trip I checked out Naked City at various times throughout the day. I saw 1 LSW on Monday,1 BSW on Tues,1 BSW Weds. All were only 4s or 5s). At Cheetahs, there was little action. It was only 9:30 or so. I had a beverage and checked it out from the bar. Quality and quantity were not bad, but I didn't see any deviant laps going on. One guy at the bar near me was feeding on a dancers breasts, but was told by a bouncer to knock it off. Headed out towards the Rhino. On the way I stopped at a little place called Foxy Girls. This is a small club where the customers and dancers all seem to know each other. The girls were decent looking but not great. About 7 working. I played video poker at the bar ($20-free beer) while watching some dances. I really liked the dive bar feel of the place, but continued to the Rhino. $20 cover, but there was a lot of selection. Beer was $12. After scoping for a while, and turning down a couple of aggressive uglys for dances, I agreed to a dance with a cute girl. Lots of grinding, rubbing thru pants, breast licking, etc. I had a second dance with excellent contact as well. $20 each dance.

I headed out to the north Strip towards Fremont for some SW action. I was pleasantly surprised at the number of girls out. A lot were of skid row quality, but some were OK. I saw some LE around, but not too much. I noticed that the girls don't stay out for a long time. Either they get picked up, or disappear indoors to avoid LE.
WSW Jennifer (aka Shorty) 26 yo. about 5' tall with proportionate weight. Picked her up about a block up from the 7-11 (14th st?). She had short red hair, and at first looked very young. After she got in the car, she looked her age, but wasn't all beat down like so many SW in this area. Agreed to $40 for BJ. (I wanted 1/2 and 1/2, but she was on her period.) It was more than I would usually pay, but she seemed like a nice safe option. Then she said we could go to her room nearby. The suggestion of her apt sent up a red flag, but she only mentioned it at first, then let it go. I told her that I wasn't comfortable with the idea and she said she completely understood. I suggested a car date. She said OK, and suggested several different places. After driving with her for 5 min or so, it seemed to me that she wasn't trying to set me up. I said, "Let's just go to your place. You don't have a roommate or anything, right?" She said no. Her apt was in on the corner of Fremont and 14th. She opened the door and I checked it out ready to bolt. Looked OK-1 room apt with kitchenette in full view. Bathroom in back. I went straight to the bathroom- no one there. She gave an excellent BBBJ. I had a hard time finishing, which is not unusual for me. She finished the job by hand. No rush, excellent attitude, never suggested giving up, even though Mr Happy wasn't being cooperative. I looked for her on following nights, but never saw her again.

We're all a little too hard on the newbies here on the boards IMHO. We were all newbies once.

The best thing I can suggest to you kit123 is to go window shopping at a strip club. You're never fully safe calling around a bunch of agencies for a private frat party hoping for extras. You never know what you get, may not be your type, hidden fees, attitude, the works. Go to some strip clubs, find some cool girls, ask around, tip them well, get some leads. You go to a place like the OG, CH2, Cheetahs, everyone knows everybody. There will always be girls willing to give you a bachelor party. Just don't be so conspicuous when asking about extras. When you meet some girls that agree to give you a good party, negotiate. The friendlier and well-mannered you are, the better. You can probably negotiate down pretty low. Make sure you click with them before you agree.

$1.5 to 2 per guy is a normal fee for a standard bachelor party here in town at least from what I've seen. Anything extra will depend on the girl and how much money you're willing to spend. Don't expect sex with a stripper unless you're willing to fork up your bank account. I have some solid leads to a knockout 10 (been on Howard Stern and all) that I've known for years that will give you exactly what you're looking for at a frat party, but you can expect to pay about $500+ per guy. Way more than what you want to spend.

The uglier, the cheaper, the hotter, the pricier. You may have to go look in the lower-end strip clubs to find the prices you're looking for, but hey, you might get lucky with a hottie. Vegas is the worst place for a man on a budget looking for pussy. I like bachelor parties for what they are -- it's a party. If you want to fuck, there are more affortable options around town, a lot of them right there on the casino floor later at night.

If you don't mind what shows up at your door for your party, although I don't recommend it, some of my friends have actually had some success in calling some numbers in the back of City Weekly (free magazines all over town). Just make sure you verify that they are independents and that there are no hidden fees upon arrival.

Day 2

Tuesday of my trip turned out to be fairly uneventful. I started cruising in the early evening and continued off and on until 4 AM. The very decent quality and unexpected quantity that I saw on Monday were nowhere to be found on Tuesday. My travels were mainly Naked City, north Strip ( St Louis to Fremont) Fremont and the Boulder Hwy , and back. The few times I went down Boulder all the way towards Sams, I did witness some activity near the adjacent motels, particularly the Motel 6 next to Az Charlies. Saw 2 or 3 BSW of questionable looks. Its hard to tell because you can't slow down real easily without being obvious to LE. And LE was abundant this night. There were 3 unmarked white LE sedans on Fremont in addition to a lot of marked cars. They also had an unmarked blue minivan. They were mainly grabbing the dealers (not a bad thing) and the hoes were staying off the street.

At about 330 AM I cruised the South strip. Nothing on the street except a handful of tourists and 1 fine BSW/CW entering the Venetian.


One positive note about Tuesday. I called a place for a massage called Massage Pros. It is strictly legit and located just past Decatur on Sahara. I saw two really good looking girls hanging out on a wall in front of Ballys. They did not make good eye contact so I continued on. It was obvious there were hookers, but they were dressed and looked like strippers. One even had implants. I guess as soon as they saw me, they started after me because by the time I got on the escalator, they were right behind me. I eventually passed as I thought they were too good to be true, and I did not feel like dropping $300+ anyway. In retrospect, I should have tried for a $200 or $250 bargain with one only. It probably would not have flown, but it could not have hurt to try. I saw another wsw in Flamingo. Chubby blonde. I wasn't in the mood for a girl like that. She put my hand on her tits and her cooch, but I told her no thanks, went back to the room, and rubbed one out.

Oh, one bit of advice: The girls really gravitate towards the young guys. I am thinking that they are hitting up the older guys at the high end places for big bucks, but for $100-200, they do not want to deal with older guys. I am not a great looking guy, but I do look to be in my 20's. I noticed a couple of guys in their 40's doing the same thing I was doing....walking up and down the strip after 3am. These guys were getting approached by zero cg's. First off, members only jackets went out of style about 20 years ago. Nothing trendy, expensive, or difficult. Just a way to blend in and look appropriate. So simple, and so easy to look halfway decent.

I find I can off-set my lack of fashion sense with my uncanny knack at Oragami & paper mache' landscapes. It is quite the ice-breaker in those situations.

Well, I'm at least (ahem) twice the age of most Strip working girls, and whenever I show the slightest sign of interest in a CW on the Strip, a nod or glance or smile or a "wazzup honey" or a raised eyebrow while checking her assets, any little hint, they are all over me immediately like spots on dice. So this past weekend, I was usually up until 4 or 5am and hit nearly every Fremont St. Casino late night after 11pm...Lady Luck, Fitzgeralds, Four Queens, Golden Nugget, Fremont, Binions, LV Club, and Plaza. My main focus is gambling, but I was certainly keeping an eye out for some action. In past trips I have only ever seen two girls working these places. One crack ho at Binions(When it was still the Horseshoe and beers at the rectangle bar were $1) who I passed on because I didn't want my friends laughing at me. We were all chilling at that bar and she waved me over. The other was a higher end girl at Golden Nugget.

This weekend, I saw nothing. Anyone have any kind of info about what I should consider? I'm tired of $200-300 a night to stay on the strip. I can get a roomy, ok place at LV Club comped. I'm also tired of the sorry state of gambling in general on the strip. The only thing I'm not tired of is the easy access to poon that will come to your room. So if I can find that, downtown is my place for the time being.

I went into each casino along the way and tried to make eye contack with anyone who was willing. I also was very vigilant during the walk and no joy.

I got off work at midnight, decided to stroll the usual places since it was slow on the strip (to me it means a deal is to be made). Nothing.

It was dead at the Greendoor off Sahara, saw a couple of Tv's in the plaza but looked the other way when I passed them, they called out to me but its not my thing. Got lucky two times in that plaza but no tonight.

Cruised to the blvd, went North alittle bit then headed back south, saw a bsw, good-looking, in some hurry but maybe game but I was all the way in the left lane. There was actually a parking area to stop and pick her up had I been prepared. Let it go.

I am sure there were some deals to be found but I wanted something quick as I was getting tired real quick. Decided to call it a night, not really a sw person but the AMP's here have proven a waste. It was too late for any AMP action for me anyway, I always hit them up when they open, I like em fresh.

I will try a certain AMP again this morning just to see if there is a change. Where they are at, you have to figure they give good service to the locals, its not visible from the main street.

I am not saying the name until after I visit the place because I don't want to be met by anyone. I perfer AMP's over sw action because it feels alittle more safer from the man.

I went out later (midnight) and saw many more girls available. Couldn't make a deal with a couple -- too many restrictions or too much money.

Then came upon a BSW and WSW just leaving Boardwalk. They were just splitting up and going their own way. I followed the white one and made connections. I asked if they were friends and she said that they had a fist fight a few weeks ago and were just making up.

The only consistent pre midnight action I know of in Las Vegas is:

1.) Crack ho's downtown in the vicinity of Fremont St.

2.) High end ho's after about 8pm all over Bellagio. Expect them to ask $600-1000 rarely settle for as low as $300.
