Drove by this weekend Sat around 12 noon and the sign for the place no longer existed, just an empty space.

So they are definitely gone.

Wow, the Delmar AMP lasted under 60 days by my count. That must be some kind of record. I did not see any stories about the place in the news, so I wonder what went down?

It's really too bad as the service was decent there.

On another note, the downtown Albany AMP has stepped up its game of late. I don't recognize the masseuse there as being from Delmar, but she looks familiar nonetheless, maybe from Rt. 7 in Latham way back when.

Older massuese, mid 40's, skinny, not too attractive. Decent massage, no extras, though I didn't press the issue because of her looks & it's not really my style to ask.

The cost for an hour is $80, which seems more than fair. On my way out, the massuese, who spoke little English, had the nerve to lead me to a chalkboard and point to "Tipping is Appreciated!" I realize you may have found her not to you liking but, there is a bit of a procedure to leaving these places happy. You have to earlier on in the massage give her indications of what you are ultimately there for. There are often many opportunities of incidental contact to where you can make it very clear that you are not LEO. It would be great if these places up her had table showers like the places downstate do."want me to wash there?" tends to clarify why you are there for a massage. I have never seen any of them strip the table and replace the towels after a session. I do remember numerous times, after the massage while I'm getting dressed, they are very carefully straightening out the towel.

Guess I'll start bringing my own in from here on out.
