It was kind of fun, but I'm glad those days are over (my excessive drinking and the anticipation of who would be knocking at the door).

Speaking of excessive drinking, does anyone remember the Dreamway? Man, I would get so toasted and drive up there periodically on weekends when I didn't have any luck hooking up with a chica from a downtown bar. I remember one night accidentally driving into an alley in the hood, between Roosevelt and Congress. There was a group of guys hanging out there who looked at me as if I was out of my mind. I have seen Karla (with a 'K') many times, but several years ago. I was just out of college at the time and had very limited funds, but one definitely got their money's worth.
