I think a hunded is a little light for the hour. I would never offer less than 120. You don't want to get the reputation of being cheap among the girls. On a side night, the girls are not supposed to quote a price. Doing so will get them in trouble with the woman that runs the place. I suspect that someone from there reads all these posts anyways.

You may have a point . . . we're not far apart on the tip anyway . . . .although Alpha is located in Hartford, not NYC, and many (most, these days) of the ladies have seen better days, so to plunk down $1 as a tip isn't all that ungenerous, I think.
But you know, last time I was there, the owner "suggested" a certain minimum tip for the hour session (I think it was $.8), with the implication being that recommended tips for shorter sessions would cost less. I'm curious - what would you say is a fair tip for the shortest session? If we're paying for time as well as services, should the shorter sessions imply a smaller tip?

If you're planning on being a repeat customer, it's always a good idea to tip more, not less. Once you get a reputation for being cheap, you're just not going to get good service. Of course tipping too much can have just as bad an effect, cause it's nearly impossible to back down once you get known as a high tipper, I might even go so far to say as you'll get treated *worse* than a low tipper if suddenly you drop your amount for no apparent reason.

Never been to Alpha, but at the AMPs I tip 1.0 (1.2 for exceptional service).

In the past few years I've been frequenting I gave $1.2 donation once. Once. I always give $1. Never, ever a complaint, a groan, a sigh. If anything, they are grateful for regulars period.
Also...yes. For short sessions for less than FS, you can do $50 and $60 respectively. I wouldn't bother personally cause that is a sure sign that you're a waste of time. They dink when a guy pays for 1 hour of work out time and but doesn't ante up like normal. But, yes, some happily take the prize cause it beats sitting around making nothing.
IMO...never, ever discuss money, or haggle. Just take your money, place in it sight before things begin. If she has issues, she'll let you know. I've never had a problem.
All things in consideration though...it may also be the "IMASUCKA" game face you have. Yeah, they'll take what they can...wouldn't you if you had what they got! Some of the ladies admit gifts and such for as much as $400 for the same standard session. Its a joke. Thats not even one of the suites, mind you. For $400 you could practically stay all day there.
IMO, do not go high. You ruin it for all. Amazingly, the fare hasn't changed in years. If she asks you for $1.4, keep your cool and ask why is the donation upped in her case? Tell her plainly what you've gifted others and ask if she can cut you a break this time. After your out, review back here and let us know.

Only given 1.2 twice, 1.0 the rest of the time. I have never tipped "before" at Fantasy (a few times at Magic as well), always "after". The tip was not brought up by the girl.

The level of service depends on more than the amount of the tip. The three main factors, IMO, that determine the level of service are 1) the girl, 2) your attitude towards them, 3) if you are regular.

Sounds like we have a consensus emerging here, and one with a range that's not too wide in deviation. Let's face it, behind closed doors nobody knows what the "recommended" amount is really "supposed" to be . . . it's like tipping at restaurants: some folks give 10% if the service is even a little weak, others leave 15% unless it's really bad or really good; some figure the 15% before taxes, and some on the total after taxes.
From what you guys have said, it seems as if $1 is a reasonable minimum for a full hour, and $1.2 is what some gals could hope to expect based on notably good service and/or good looks. So that $.8 is on the low side and $1.4 would be on the high side, at least for service that isn't extremely bad or extremely good.
As I mentioned in my first post, I was pretty surprised by the reaction of one gal, Madison, to anything less than $1.4. She was cute enough, but her friendliness and enthusiasm left a lot to be desired, so the $1.2 I left was fair enough. Let's put it this way: there are (or at least in the old days, used to be) far less cute ladies at Alpha who'd deserve $1.2 or even, on rare occasion, $1.4 a lot more than this lady.

I have only been to alpha once. Went with Madison for 1 hour. She was the best looking lady there.
I had read up on the suggested tips here before. I always put the money down off to the side before beginning. It is up to them whether they want to take it or not..so no connection between tip and activities officially.
