I've noticed this as well.
Single pop seems to be gaining traction as a standard level of service, and that is very disappointing. Where before when I booked 1 hour it meant I 1 hour to go pop as often as I could. Recently though, when booking, and when I clarify, suddenly up charges pop up and extra pops cost extra. I just shut that conversation down and say no. The last one was Aly on Listcrawler (last 4 is 6772). $200/ hr was reasonable. But when I clarified the "1 hour is a full hour with multiple pops", she replied that it was $250/ hr for multiple pops. My response was, (copy and paste) "No thank you then. 200 for 1 hour for 1 pop is nonsense. Might as well just go for a QV, lower price, same result, one pop. Sorry I bothered you. Going to find someone else. ".
That's pretty much how I feel. If I book an hour, then that's my hour. If I book 30 minutes, then we go for 30 minutes. If they book "by the pop" then be upfront about it. It's not unreasonable.
So, watch your six, play safe, do your due diligence, and don't put up with nonsense. Going through with a bad deal only enables them and make it harder on everyone who comes after you.
Unless I know the provider from seeing them multiple times, I do hhrs now. I often don't have time to get the energy gathered up for a second go within an hour anyway, so I've found this saves me some coin.
