Silk on ss
Over a month ago a dancer told me the club was closing January 1 for a major remodel and would open back up mid March. On line FB shows a note from mgt thanking everyone for past 20 years and to visit the 3 other locations. Sounds more like a permanent closing than a remodel. I sure had some great times there. Will miss it. I refuse to go downtown at night.

Silk on Silver Spring, in the 2000's, was the place in Milwaukee. There was a ton of great talent there. Lolly Topps. That shot girl who was a total smoke show. Too many to name. OTB wasn't always as nice as it is now, and the previous iteration of Heart Breakers before its remodel and many different names was rough around the edges. Silk was the place. Always at least a couple hot blondes. Always at least a couple really busty girls. Always at least one or two hot Asians. It was a great mix at its best.
Good times, too. Made OTC work there once, though it wasn't nearly as fun as I'd hoped. When I first started clubbing, I was skinny enough that one of those Asians figured out she could reach over the top of my pants in the dance room to get a good tip in more ways than one. Fun was had.
It had really gone downhill post-pandemic, though. I think they made a point to push the best talent to the location near Grand Ave. , though I've never been terribly impressed with the few trips I've made. I don't like that location. I prefer mongering in private; it's too close to too many places where people I know outside the hobby might be on any given night.
On the one hand, I don't think we're missing much anymore. On the other hand, it's going to be weird not having Silk on Silver Spring as part of our scene anymore. It was pretty much the only reason I went to that part of town. Ever. Not anymore.

Airport Lounge
Not sure how much longer it will last, always dead. Bunch of larger ladies, nobody tips. No girls dance half time don't take off top.

They were all blindsided because as far as they knew it was going to re-open in April. But nobody is surprised because this has been the rumor since they got rid of the day shift. The club has needed a lot of repairs since before the pandemic and in the past few years things have just gotten worse and worse. You know it's bad when they won't even spend the $100 to fix a toilet that's been broken for a year.
They watch you like a hawk on the cameras. There is no hanky panky there. They get yelled at when they get too close to customers while on stage, too.
There is one prostitute working there now on skipthegames, then 2 former dancers are now prostitutes. Kittn aka freya and bonnie (super skinny gaunt blonde).
Then there's one that works there that goes on dates with guys but doesn't do anything but string them on for money and rides to places.
Also they take a photo of your I'd and keep it. I heard them talking about keeping it a few months ago. The bouncer was looking at all the old ones and making remarks about them.
Encore is a dive bar with out of shape dancers. Nothing more.
If you could please post a link to an ad for Freya or shoot me a message if you know how to get in touch with her I'd greatly appreciate it. I saw her a ton when she was there, but then she went to OTB and they chased her out pretty quickly. I was recently wondering what happened to her.

Every once in a while I would stop in and I would be thinking "yep, this place still sucks." Who knows. These types of businesses were highly sought after at one time for the main purpose to wash money.

It's got that country place next door that's also closed.
My first thought is the Harley place will buy it and turn it into a biker bar or just knock everything down.
The odds of them selling to a competing business in the industry are probably slim, but we can all dream.
I've said I'd like to see OTB set up a second location there, but they might not want to deal with that part of town. I don't particularly want any of the other clubs in town to try another location. We don't need a Heart Breakers North.
Maybe it's a chance for an outside chain to move in? Spearmint Rhino had that failed experiment in West Bend that is now, hilariously, a Christian school. Could they come back? A satellite Peppermint Hippo location to supplement the one in Neenah? Scores? Polekatz?
Yes, the place had some issues, but nothing a little spit shine couldn't fix really fast.
All that said, that area's gone downhill some and I still think the Harley place might just want the club gone.

OTB Nicole
Anyone know if Nicole at OTB is still around?

I don't see the HD store buying it, but I've been wrong before.

When the owners of Silk purchased the building twenty or so years ago it came with a Cabaret license that Zoy had from the Attic West. That allowed dancers. Those are not easy to come by in the City of Milwaukee.
With EZ on and off from the interstate I wouldn't be surprised if some sort of warehouse ends up there. We'll wait and see.
