The amount varies from time to time. Last year as I recall there was a dry spell, but it is like the tide. Sometimes low tide. Sometimes high tide.

There used to be much more than there is now on Hillsborough between 40th and the bridge past 50th. That area has been at "low tide" for a few years, that is, according to my observations.

As for Seminole Heights, the residents old and new decide to get rid of working girls from time to time, too. Gentrification efforts will certainly work to decrease the number of workers in the street, but not at all hours of the night.

When I was asking about other areas, I really meant OTHER areas as in -- a long way from Nebraska.

There used to be activity:

- Hillsborough all the way out to about 40th.

- In a neighborhood not far from the Orient Road Jail.

- In Drew Park mixed in with the porn stores.

- maybe other places I don't know about.

Just wondering if any of those areas are worth the drive anymore? Last several times I did the full Tampa tour I struck out everywhere except Nebraska.

New to the area. Went out to check out fantsyland, Truth and Pink Pony. Waste of time so I drove down HB ave for about 15 minutes around 3 am. Saw about 7 potentials. Only 1 WSW though and 2 skinny BSW with little clothing on, 2 blocks south of HB ave on Nebraska. Thought one might be a tranny.

Drew Park has some local working girls that are paranoid of anyone not local, that is, not known to drive around Drew Park some. It took me a handful of trips out to the area over a two week period (this is all last year) to get the attention of someone dressed like a girl in whom I had no interest, but was polite enough for him to give me an introduction to a real local HSW. That was on the block behind the convenience store near Alva and Lois. Again, in my opinion it was not worth the time.

The strip club in Drew Park did provide an opportunity to get to know a dancer-this -week who played at the club for cheap, but that was when the establishment was named something different than it is now and it, too, was a few years ago.
